Poor food, poor service
The food was thrown on the plate, the hot dog literally was a frankfurter in a bun with just a few chips, and despite their being just 4 tables with guests and three servers the meal took forever. Really poor standards.
We’re British so perhaps need to adjust expectations but for $60 we felt it was a complete rip-off

great food beautiful view and very dog friendly, a must stop if hiking at Starved Rock

Very dog friendly
This place is a great spot to relax when hiking at Starved Rock. They are super dog friendly, letting dogs at most tables on the patio. They will bring them water and they have a doggy menu. A full chicken breast, grilled and cut up for you for $4. My dogs LOVED the extra fuel to keep hiking.
