Albatross Drive-In
Washington Island's Albatross Drive-In is a casual, dog-friendly ice cream shop and grill where Fido is welcome to join you at an outdoor table. This seasonal restaurant open Memorial day weekend until Columbus Day. Burgers are their specialty; the meat is ground fresh on the island and the patties are formed by hand. Also popular are hot dogs, brats, polish sausages, tacos, chicken sandwiches, onion rings, french fries and Wisconsin cheese curds. They also feature cones (soft-serve, scooped and frozen yogurt), 50 flavors of handmade shakes & malts, flurries, floats and banana splits with thick, gourmet, fresh ingredients. Don't forget to order Fido an ice cream pup cup!
