We would’ve loved to have tried the quaint looking restaurant, although they did not have a reservation available for two full weeks. Granted it was during Mardi Gras so maybe other times of year are different.

The patio is so pretty and you can easily carry on a conversation. The blackened catfish sandwich is yummy as well as the short ribs. Our server Julia was delightful!

This place was a courtyard of paradise. We made a reservation the day before for brunch and it took less than 2 minutes to seat us. As soon as they did someone brought a small water bowl for our pup. The food was DELICIOUS! I had the collards and eggs and my boyfriend had the chicken and waffles. I would recommend both. We also shared the gulf shrimp and grits which was so yummy. The service was amazing. our waitress was so sweet. Be mindful of the weather when bringing your dog. They don't have any covered areas outside and I'm not sure they allow dogs in their small dine in area. We were lucky that rain was coming during our brunch but it started as soon as we paid the bill and got up to leave. Not sure where they would have put us otherwise. I believe they turned other dog owners away as they knew rain was coming but that's just a guess.

Definitely will be back. - KokoDec 14, 2019Nice Surprise
I recently visited NOLA for the first time on my first solo vacation with my furchild and I was a little nervous about eating out in public alone for the first time. Café Amelie was a hidden GEM and perfect experience for this first timer. I was walking down the street when I looked up and saw a cute simple sign that read Café Amelie, intrigued by the court yard alone I stopped for a second to look when the host said "No, No. Sorry, no dogs!" I started to quickly explain that I was not stopping when the host let out a huge grin and said "I'm kidding, the little guy is welcome!" With that I decided to cancel my park lunch and sit down for a proper meal. BOY AM I GLAD I DID!!!! First let me start by saying that they placed a big smile on my face when a young man walked up with a bowl of water and ice for my furchild almost as soon as I was seated. I ordered the Chicken and Andouille Jambalaya Pasta and let me tell you I let out the biggest MMMMMM ever when taking my first bite. The flavors were amazing and the portion for lunch was huge! I also ordered the courtyard cocktail of the day, I wish I remembered what it was called because the drink was very refreshing and something I would enjoy again. It was a little strong for me personally so I didn't finish it, but I don't think most people would have a problem with that! All around a great experience.

I’ve used Bring Fido for some time and have tried numerous restaurants. All the reviews are spot on. Nothing more I could possibly add. Great place, amazing food.

A gorgeous courtyard with fountain nestled between some old buildings. Very friendly staff. Quick service too. Excellent food as well. Will visit again!

Beautiful courtyard, food was awesome and pets are very welcome. Our waitress was so friendly and helpful. If I had to say anything that was not favorable it would be the tables and chairs. Not very comfortable. Plenty of food a little pricey. We totally would go back!

Had dinner tonight and the food was awesome! It was made even better by the service we received from Eliza. She brought my puppy water and chicken because they were out of bacon. She was awesome and so was the ambiance. Great patio dining in the heart of the French Quarter. Highly recommend!!

It's a true gem to find a place like this that also allows dogs to dine. Some of the best food in New Orleans, beautiful / quiet / landscaped courtyard on one of the most popular streets in the French Quarter. Both times we've been here, we've had a short wait of 30 mins or so. They took our cell phone number and texted us when the table was ready - easy. There were a couple boutiques on the next block with water bowls outside for dogs, and nice grassy area about 6 blocks east, so we strolled down there while we waited for our table. There was another dog walking into the courtyard as we were seated. The waitress brought us a bowl of water immediately and asked if she could bring Lola some bacon when they served our salads. The food was delicious, and the service was wonderful. In all, there were three dogs in the courtyard this morning. I will go back EVERY time I come to New Orleans. Highly recommended.

Sunday Brunch with a side of some typical summer rain. Quaint Courtyard and excellent pet friendly staff! Could not have been more accommodating and quick with an umbrella. Oh, the food is awesome too!
