  Hidden menu for dogs; human menu heavy on seafood

  We've taken our dog, Faith, there several times; it seems to be her favorite bar. As was stated, the staff will bring your dog a bowl of water with ice chips soon after you've been seated. We always get her a Dogburger (two cooked patties) which she loves, which is standard for a dog.

  I have to caution those with seafood allergies to be careful ordering, as the menu is heavy on seafood. The kitchen is very careful, though, and we've never had an issue. For their care I will award the staff and kitchen at Tailchaser's Five Bones.

  Wonderful place

  such a nice time had ! beautiful friendly place great food and drinks so accommodating .
  nice atmosphere on the canal groovy tunes .will come back !

  FANTASTIC!

  This restaurant was amazing from start to finish! Every staff member was kind and welcoming to our dog! The back deck is right on the bay and covered. They let her go right through the restaurant to get to the deck, and brought her a bowl with water and crushed ice, which she loved.
  The menu has many fabulous choices and everything we had was just amazing! We had the crab dip, crab cakes, and a special of soft shell crab. both meals came with wonderful pesto fries. Dessert was also awesome with large portions, definitely enough to share. The Key Lime pie and bread pudding were what we choose.
  I cannot say enough good things about our experience!

  Great place

  we went to Tailchaisers after arriving in OC and were extremely impressed. We went during happy hour and shared many plates from the happy hour menu, all of which were delicious. We brought with us 3 dogs, and they were just as welcomed as we were. They brought water for the pups, and we ordered the pup burgers (not on paper menu, but listed on website) the pup burgers were 2 large hamburgers served on a large metal pan! The pups Loved them! If you are traveling with pups, definitely stop here - you won’t be disappointed!

  Great for dogs

  lived in the Ocean City Maryland area for over five years and have never tried tail chasers. What a mistake that was, myself and my wife had an enjoyable evening with our dog Hank! Great oysters cold beer wonderful service!

  Relaxing Spot

  We spent all afternoon here and our pup was fine. Loved the doggy burger and even got I requested water bowl refills. Perfect afternoon for all.

  Loved it here!

  Tailchasers was very dog friendly. There were a few well behaved pups at dinner (including ours) and the staff was quick to bring our water for all of them. the setting is very pretty on the water and it is covered as well for shade and protection from the rain. Food was excellent too!

  My dog's favorite bar

  Joy knows to walk to Tailchaser's on her walks. She is always greeted warmly by our servers, who bring her water. They will always bring her some cooked hamburger patties to have for lunch. Please note the patties are not free but are reasonably priced.
