  Good Food / Dog Friendly

  Although it's impersonal, the Southern Growl has a lot of beer choices and decent food. I do wish they had food to order for the dogs. Hounds can be outside on leashes. Large grassy area outside. Very busy during the summer.

  Dog Friendly but Not Really for Dogs

  The food and selection of beer is great, although impersonal. Nothing to order for your dogs as most dog-related places have. They allow dogs on the outdoor dining area only and no play area for them despite it being huge and grassy. I brought them outside the restaurant in the parking lot, to do their business, and let them off their leashes, actually off the property, and was admonished. Strange.

  Awesome spot!

  Great place to bring your pups. Nice patio and lawn area. They also have amazing food and beer.
