    The Roost is a collection of dog-friendly eateries, from pizza to designer tacos to deli sandwiches, a dozen blocks south of the US Capitol on Pennsylvania Avenue in DC.       Great food and friendly staff!

      The food at the Roost is top-notch and there's lots of patio seating! Although the patio is open during the winter, I'd only bring a cold-weather dog to sit out there for long periods of time, even with the heaters. The staff are always very friendly and kind to our pup.

      Big patio, very pet friendly

      DC is a dog friendly town and the Roost, in the Capitol Hill neighborhood, is a nice place to dine mostly with locals and their pets. The menu is varied the food is first-rate and the neighborhood is walkable and historic.
