  Triple D for sure: Delicious food, Delightful employees, Dog-friendly

  Indigo Coastal Shanty is just perfect! Afterwards we found out they would be featured in a March 2024 episode of Diners, Drive-ins and Dives and could completely understand why they were selected to be part of the Flavortown lore. Food - exceptional, staff – great, and atmosphere –fun especially with the amazing tree in the outdoor seating area. We checked with hostess to confirm that outdoor seating was still dog-friendly and were seated promptly. Our waitress Maddie provided great service and was personable as well as efficient. Some restaurants are dog tolerant (which we still appreciate). The Shanty was dog-FRIENDLY. We had brought our own water/bowl for our dog but still appreciated that they offered us some. They even offered our Lab a doggie food bowl with chicken & rice and he greatly enjoyed it.
  We, humans, found the Charleston Saute to be incredible with the shrimp perfectly cooked and I think I’ve become a fan of fried okra thanks to them. We got a chance to chat with Gustavo briefly and were super impressed with him and the entire experience. Highly, highly recommend.

  Complete delight for all of us!

  What a find! We celebrated my husband's birthday on our first visit here. 'We' includes our toy poodle. Great setting, wonderful, varied menu, expertly prepared food, delightful staff, and a complementary bowl of chicken and rice for our dog! He scarfed it down like it was the best thing ever, and it probably was. We will come here again. Just a delight.

  Great location, fantastic staff and food

  We were four in total with two fur babies. For food we had the Mezze to start with and then a variety of meals, calypso salad, fish sandwich, curry and the daily special fish plate. All dishes were very good. The touch of rice and chicken bowls and water for the babies was an awesome touch. If you can ask for for April very personable and just a great human.

  Happy we stopped by!

  We were traveling on I-95 with our dog, Waffles, and used bring Fido to find a dog friendly place to eat and boy are we glad we did. Indigo Coastal Shanty was great, good home style southern food with a twist and personal attentive service. They gave Waffles a bowl of water on arrival and, after checking with us first, a bowl of chicken and rice mix that he gobbled up. I had the meatloaf and my wife the curry ("just like my mom used to make") and we were both pleased. It is a few miles off the interstate but well worth the drive.

  So worth the detour

  Do I ever wish this place was close to home. A wonderful menu which they don’t mind customizing to your preferences. Delivered water for the dog along with the menus. Food was outstanding, with a bit of Caribbean kick. Well worth the detour off I95.

  Pup Approved and Amazing People Food Too!!!

  We were in town for three nights and we went to Indigo twice getting different items each time, not one wrong decision. I don’t think you can make a wrong decision with anything on the menu. The Bahamian Chicken Curry was AMAZING!!! The Warm Shanty Sundae and Georgia Peach Pound Cake we’re both delicious! Service was great, staff was very friendly and came to see Jax to love on him and say hi again! Jax loved his complimentary bowl of chicken and rice! 🐾😍🦴🐾

  What could be better than eating under a giant live-oak? I highly recommend the fried green tomato sandwich!

  Delicious food & snack for dogs!

  The atmosphere is super neat here! The deck is basically in the trees making it so relaxing! The food was perfect and we even got free chicken and rice bowls for the dogs!

  So good & so dog friendly!!

  Great southern food! I had fried green tomatoes & jerk chicken. They gave my puppies a bowl of water AND chicken & rice. I will be coming back!!

  We're only spending one night in Brunswick and I am so glad we came here. The outdoor tables under the big oak tree create a great relaxed vibe and has abundant shade. They were happy to find a spot for us with our pup and immediately brought out a bowl of water for her. Plus you can't beat the food. I highly recommend the sesame crusted catfish!

  Amazing for dogs and their pups!

  Very friendly service! Amazing food! Quaint and very pup friendly deck surrounding an historic live oak tree draped in spanish moss. Generously brought out cool water for my pup and top secret tip, they offer a comp rice & chicken if pup is hungry! If you're anywhere within driving distance, it's definitely worth the drive!

  Great stop for some local flavor and southern hospitality on way down to West Palm Beach. We recommend stopping by with our without your pups. When it’s cold the outside where dogs are allowed is not open.

  Outstanding creative food

  Small restaurant but it has tables outside under a large tree & is dog friendly. The food is so good I went 3x during my week stay. Awesome staff too!

  So amazing we went twice!

  Donna, April, and Jessica were incredible to us and my dog. We were in town for three nights and went to Indigo two of those nights. Very dog friendly and excellent service and food.

  Little Bit loved Shanty!

  The human food was awesome and they give your dog a bowl of rice and Chicken for free. I had a Black bean burger with a fried green tomato and sweet potato fries. It was busy but with the wait.

  Awesome Place

  My husband and I take our boxer, Maddy everywhere, thus we are always on the lookout for dog friendly restaurants. The staff and the food are excellent!! They were top-notch in service and made us feel like daily guests, even though it was our first time visiting. They gave Maddy a complementary bowl of chicken and rice! Needless to say, this is Maddy’s new spot for sure. We will be regulars now!! Excited to try all the entree’s.
