  I had my dog at my feet / table .
  She was as close as possible.
  About halfway through our lunch, a manager came and asked if she was a service dog. I said no. He said keep her on a short leash. I had been keeping her very close . She didn’t cause any trouble at all. I was very surprised.

  Best place for pups in the French Quarter!

  we’ve come to NOLA several times with our dachshunds and Pat O’s is the very best place in the FQ to bring them! Use the Bourbon St entrance to request a table- you must order food to be seated by host and seated tables are best for the dogs. St Peter st entrance is bar patio and it’s first come/first served on the seats. (you’ll most likely stand in a crowd and your pup won’t get service). we had a fantastic corner table and immediately the host brought a giant bowl of ice water for our dog. I asked the waitress if we could have a cup of plain rice with our order for the dog and she even brought him a plate! we had also order beans and rice (NOT spicy at all!) and put a little of that on his rice to sweeten the meal. we also ordered alligator bites, (tastes like chicken!), and he enjoyed just one of those as well. the waitress was so friendly and kind about our dog so we just stayed and kept ordering drinks. (which is what they’re known for so enjoy!)
