Been a customer of Barleys for almost 20 years. Recently, we went downtown with our dog on a weeknight specifically to eat at Barleys. As usual, they had their tables out on the street but no one sitting there. It was in the mid-60s, but we were perfectly happy to sit outside. When my wife went in to say that we had our dog and ask if we could take a seat, the hostess was indecisive and went off to ask someone else only to come back to say no with a very uncaring attitude. Needless to say, they lost a longtime customer over their lack of empathy and unwillingness to accommodate our canine needs. There are plenty of other dog friendly establishments in Greenville to waste your time going to this place.

Only a few outside tables and you must grab it, no putting down a name. Inside and out the service is slow. If you're willing to wait, the pizza is good and the beer selection is very good. Just don't make plans for after dinner... You won't make them.

Went here the day of the Great American Eclipse. Server was very nice and the food was great.
Dog amenities: There are maybe 4 tables outside with umbrellas and dog water bowls that the stuff keeps clean and filled. My only concern would be where the sun is during the time of day. In the summer months there may or may not be a lot of shade for Fido.
