  Not dog friendly!

  This place is very dog unfriendly. They have a patio on the sidewalk with a railing separating the patio and sidewalk. They want you chain your dog up on the other side of the railing. We left there and went right up the street to Portside Inn. They are awesome. Very dog friendly with a shady outdoor patio. The food was awesome as well.

  We made it work

  Although this was less than ideal, we made it work. We “hitched” our dog up and requested a table nearest to where we could see him. Then we moved our table to the edge of the patio’s half wall, which allowed us to see, touch and talk to our dog. He had lots of walker’s stop to say hello, so he was pretty happy. But he barked when he realized he couldn’t be right near us and it took him forever to relax because of ALL the foot, bike, scooter and car traffic RIGHT in front of him. I wouldn’t have stayed if we couldn’t see our dog from our table. There’s simply too many families walking by and I’d have been worried not to be able to supervise his interactions with kiddos.

  To me, this isn’t a dog-friendly place, but we made it work, the staff was nice and the food was great. I wouldn’t eat there with our dog again, however.

  chain your dog up outside their walled patio by the road. i think not. this is not dog friendly do not take your pet.

  Good food but…

  service and food were great, but they are NOT dog friendly. Your dog isn’t allowed on the patio and must remain on the public sidewalk tied up to a hitch post that doesn’t look sturdy for more expressive dogs. The dogs are separated from the patio by a brick wall, and you aren’t guaranteed to have a table by the brick wall. There are a few hitches and they are close to each other. This restaurant is located by a car heavy traffic area.

  No dogs on patio

  If you consider tiring your dog up on the side of the road “friendly” you need to reconsider dining out with your pet. Shame on this place for even proving such an option.

  Hitching Post for Dogs

  This is a great spot to bring your dogs if they are okay with being on a post just outside of the patio. There are several seats on the patio where you can see/check on the dogs but you should be aware that you will not be sitting directly with your pet at this restaurant. Good food and good service, also gave us a water bowl for the dogs.

  Not ideal

  The outdoor patio is billed as pet friendly but the dogs must be tied to a “hitching post” on the sidewalk outside of the patio area. This would be fine but there is a 3’ high solid brick wall between the dog and the owners and there is no shade, just a hot sidewalk. The servers were friendly though and brought a nice dog treat out for our boy.
