Fido is welcome to accompany you to a bench at the outdoor picnic area but visitors will need to go inside without Fido to view the menu and place an order. The restaurant is best known for their wood-fired craft pizzas made with locally sourced, seasonal ingredients. The menu includes fresh salads, sandwiches, soups and a large variety of signature pizzas. Rappahannock Pizza Kitchen carry a range of locally-brewed beer and also sell wine by the bottle.

We stopped in for pizza one night while vacationing nearby. The pizza was excellent - a nice, chewy crust and plentiful toppings. There are multiple picnic tables here, and plenty of grassy areas for dogs to lay down in. We struck up a conversation with another family with a dog, who lives in the area and eats here regularly, which is always a good sign. Highly recommended!
