They have loads of outside seating that’s shaded. They do not have a dog menu and they do not bring out a water bowl so bring your own. Food was great!
- BillJul 14, 2021Pretty good food too
Overlooking a lake with paddleboat rentals. also kayaks too.
- AllisonSep 1, 2019Great Dog Friendly Spot
This spot is perfect to bring your dog along. It is located off a river so you have a nice view. There is a secret dog menu that you need to ask for. They brought my dog a water bowl as well. Everyone was super friendly

This location was great for our new puppy. People and dogs young and old were able to eat outdoors and have an amazing view of the lake. Dog bowls are available around the area and there’s plenty of grass to walk around and take care of business.
- ShannonJul 20, 2019Great Food and a Dog Menu!
We picked this place for lunch and loved it! They welcomed us and our dogs, and the food was amazing. I had the pulled pork--best ever. Hubby had the bbq salmon on a croissant. Both were wonderful. The mezze plate was a great appetizer, all veggie, too. The spot was lovely. Dogs got their own bowls of water, their own menu, and much admiration as well as time to enjoy watching the ducks. Overall, one of the best stops on our trip!

Restaurant has outdoor seating area where they allow pets. They provide water bowls and even have a special dog menu.
Highly recommend. - TinaJul 2, 2019Super Cute!
We happened to get here right as a monsoon started, but thankfully the outdoor patio has one area that’s covered by a tent! We hung out and ate and drank until the rain lightened. Nice and open and on the water. We definitely would come back!
- SaraMay 5, 2019The Dogs lunch stop
We had lunch here at the end of April 2019. The staff was very nice and the food was very good. They even had a special dog menu to order a treat for your dog. I would definitely recommend the boat house to those looking to go somewhere fun to eat with your dog on there nice patio over looking the lake.

All,
I bring my Dylan (York is) every weekend the weather allows. Great food, drinks, and music scene. Views are spectacular. Dogs are welcomed like customers. Can’t say enough good things.

The Boathouse was on our to do list with our lab and it didn't disappoint! The ambiance was lovely sitting outside with our kids and our dog. Food was really good to. We definitely recommend!
- AuroraMore than a year agoGreat view!
We love it here & the dogs are always welcomed. Great view, we often come to sit & have a relaxing drink. That is, if the dogs aren't trying to chase the water fowl, then it's less than relaxing :). Overall a great dog-friendly option.

Very welcoming to dogs. Waited about 45 min for a table but there is plenty of seating and a bar area to get drinking while waiting. We chose to spend our time on the paddle boats. also very dog friendly. Good food. Brought ice water out for our dog.
- JessicaMore than a year agoYappy Hours are Awesome @ TBH
My dog loved his first "Yappy Hour" you pay a "cover" charge of like 5$ and your dog can run an play in an unleashed area with lake access! My dog is really laid back but the reason I gave it 4/5 was some dogs kept escaping by swimming out past the barrier then getting out on the other side of the fence. It would make me so much more comfortable if that was fixed for good. But honestly my dog is 9 and he was just thrilled to bask in the sun and take it all in- we loved it!!!! Didn't know I could order food- so next time we may do that on top of Yappy Hour!!
- GLORYAMore than a year agoGREAT PARK
This is a great spot to have lunch with your dog. We were there March 18, 2012, while in St. Louis, staying at the amazing Cheshire close by. The place was jammed, all kinds of dogs and kids. They brought water for our two collies. Food was simple and good. A nice time for all of us.
- WilsonMore than a year agoLucy loved the Boathouse
We immediately spotted a sign welcoming well-behaved dogs at the entrance to the Boathouse. It was quite busy and we waited an hour to be seated, but there were comfy rockers to sit in and watch the ducks swim by as the sun set.
The food was simple; sandwiches, salads, etc., but very good and reasonably priced. Our dog, who seemed to be the only canine present, was welcomed by the staff and fussed over by some of the diners. Dog treats and water were available too. We would definitely return next time we visit St. Louis.
