      Absolutely Wonderful

      Dogs are limited to dine in the very large enclosed porch. Tables are well spaced. Plenty of tv’s for sports viewing. Nice view of lake across street. They offer dog menu & treats. Staff are incredibly friendly! Food and service were excellent- especially lobster cheese grits! So glad we stopped- literally best place we have found in awhile.

      Lake Oconee Bistro is awesome!!

      Drinks were good, food was good, and was very dog friendly! The server brought out a water bowl for our dog. The screened in porch was very nice.

      you and your dog(s)will be happy here

      We went here to celebrate Mardi Gras and it did not disappoint. Oysters on the half shell for $1.25 Had the "Lake O Po' Boy" and it, along with the lakeside setting, felt a lot like being on the shore of Lake Lake Pontchartrain.

      One big caveat on other reviews: THEY NO LONGER HAVE A MENU FOR DOG ENTREES! In fact, you can't feed your dog food of any kind, from any source (that includes menu items or treats you brought). I looked like it was some change in local or state law.

      Screened-in dog-friendly porch

      We liked that this porch was screened in with a view of the water. It would be perfect in the summertime! It wasn't much fun in December, though, since the porch was shaded and didn't have any heaters available. We were offered a K-9 menu (so cute!) but unfortunately not a water bowl for our pup.

      Top Dog Service!

      Our new favorite at Lake Oconee! They have a really nice large screened in patio. Our server was fantastic.
      There was a mix up on Shugs meal and the Manager came out to apologize and had his new dish prepared. We were really surprised but very impressed. This bistro offers a great menu for both hoomans and Fido. Highly recommend and we will most definitely eat here every time we come to visit.
