      Great hot dogs...

      Update to earlier review: 2-3 picnic tables facing parking lot on Kelly's Kone side. Still not my favorite place to take the pup, but Hamden (and CT as a whole, it seems) has limited dog-friendly options.

      Great hot dogs no so great with a dog

      I enjoy the chili cheese dog, fried seafood, and other fried sides but it loses point for seating options. You can grab your food and eat in your car with your dog (which you could say for any eating establishment) but I've never seen the elusive benches mentioned in the description (I've dined there between 6-10 times). I'd stay away from the burgers-overcooked charcoal brick. Plenty of other top notch CT burger joints to choose if that's what you're craving.
