  Dogs NOT welcome year-round

  They canceled our reservation as they said their patio is only open “seasonally” and could not accommodate dogs. They canceled our reservation several hours before, and we had to find alternate accommodations

  Happy to have our pup outside

  The staff were supper accommodating. They got us set up outside on a chilly night and made sure we had our own heater. It was just to enjoy a nicer-style meal with our dog. The dumplings are a must!

  Great pet friendly Japanese restaurant

  We had a great dinner at Ukiah Japanese Smokehouse last week. Dogs are welcome in their outdoor (partly covered) patio. Staff was very attentive and doted on our little toy poodle. The location is just a short walk from the center of the city and the food was outstanding. Recommend either with or without your beloved pet!

  Perfect place for you and your pup!

  I came to Asheville specifically because it’s a dog friendly city. my first stop at Ukiah did not disappoint. They brought my sweet boy water, treats and a blanket to lay on. The food was just as amazing as the service!!
