  Dog ‘friendly’ but not pleasant for the pooch

  They didn’t blink an eye when we brought our Cavapoo in to their covered patio. There were several other people with pets there. However, he took us to a high top table at the back where it was dark, dank and crowded. Woody was pretty nervous but handled it very well in spite of the conditions. No offer of water for him. Because he was anxious being so far away from us on the floor, I put him on another high top chair beside me. Then I was told that health regulations required him to remain on the floor. Which I get, but it was not a pleasant experience for any of us. We ate our mediocre overpriced food as quickly as possible and got out of there.

  Good location, be aware if your dog needs a lot of space

  We loved this place. We watched some football on a Sunday with our two beagles while on vacation. There was a covered area and uncovered area that allowed dogs and the staff was very accommodating and welcoming of our pups. The covered area was a little tight on space, so if your pup needs a bit more space when hanging out with you in a public space, just be sure to sit in the uncovered area. The restaurant was very busy. We would go back!

  And music,too. Very accommodating with our dog. Wait staff and customers very friendly. Evening was cool and there were plenty of space heaters.

  Great Fish Tacos

  I stopped in for Happy Hour and an early dinner. Live music and lots of energy. Wait staff could not have been more welcoming. My German Shepherd is a big dog, and they gave us a great spot against a wall and out of the way. There was much more available seating than I first thought, There are some uncovered tables up front, but we were seated well inside the covered eating area. My server asked me twice if she could bring water for my dog. Food was terrific.

  Loved this place!

  Fun little oyster shack with covered outdoor seating, located right in the middle of Siesta Key Village! Great food and awesome environment. We listened to live music while having a drink at the bar with our pup. Only reason we didn’t give full points is because the area is kind of small and crowded so we had to pick a secluded spot where our dog wouldn’t be in the way of servers/other customers. Otherwise had an awesome experience!
