Worth the drive
We found this place off of the Bring Fido site. It was well worth it. Bbq, bacon cheeseburgers and onion rings! I showed my city slicker side and ask for a cocktail that she had to look up. Ariel did great making it! Our Ghost was completely at ease. He walked through to the patio with a swagger. Pets from the customers inside. Water was served. I highly recommend this place!!

Old School
If you would like a bit of old school western charm, head on over the Ethel's Old Corral Cafe. There is nothing pretentious about this place. A favorite among the locals with a lot of history. The food is good as are the drinks, with a full bar. They were happy to see us and our doggo Freya. The locals frequent here and don't be surprised if you see them pull up on their horses. They are very near to the Kern River and a lot of folks like to ride the trails around there.
