      Fun spot for breakfast or brunch

      Driving from Spokane to Hood River, we picked this spot because it was about at the halfway point and we were ready for lunch. What a lucky find! Attention to detail is outstanding. The enclosed patio is spacious and pretty, reflecting the fun retro decorating theme of the restaurant. The bar selections are extensive, with lots of variations on mimosas, Bloody Marys, specialty coffees, and other brunch beverages. Starters and salads all looked good. I had the avocado toast "flight" -- 3 different toppings on sourdough bread with lots of perfectly ripe avocado. My husband ordered chicken and waffles; it was a generous portion and done to perfection. Friendly staff were attentive to our dog and very welcoming overall. Prices were very fair for the portion sizes.
