Really cute stop located next to Presque Isle State Park and Sara's campground. Other restaurants on site (tacos pizza etc). Drive thru or outside and inside seating. Immediately across from paved waking pathway. Some 'activities' such as hula hoop station and photo op spot. Restroom. Did not eat because the menu was limited and didn't offer salads / healthy foods. Burgers, tenders, hot dogs, chicken or turkey patty, ice cream, etc available. Definitely a good spot for a family though.

There was a ton of outdoor seating for our pup! The tables are very close together, but we were able to enjoy lunch with our furball outside!

Great diner food that was not greasy at all.

With the exception of the hamburgers (which are always served cold) the food is great. The atmosphere is that of a 1950's burger joint without the roller skating waitresses. I am a bit agoraphobic, so sitting inside at the communal tables is out for me, but that means I can share my meal al fresco with my best man, Red. I highly recommend the onion rings and pop (in this area it is always called "pop." Sodas have ice cream in them) from the create-your-own flavor machine. Make sure you save room for orange ice cream.

Made a special stop here today, 4th of July 2011, found them online as dog friendly. Turned out to be a great traditional hamburger/hot dog/ice cream stand and an old fashioned diner. Both looked liked they'd been there forever, but very nice and fresh inside and out. Sara's has mostly outside seating, and the dogs are welcome, the attached Sally's diner has outside tables where the dog's are also welcome. Sadie enjoyed an order of chicken fingers, and a "doggie dish" ice cream which is a regular item on the menu. A double mound of vanilla ice cream in a french fry tray with a doggie bone on top of each mound. There were at least 6 or 8 other dogs that came and went while we ate. Very nice experience, great food and we will always come back to a place that makes our dog welcome.
