  Dogs on Outdoor Patio ok!

  The food is just average, but they allowed us to have our lab sit with us on the outside patio.

  Very pup friendly

  This restaurant, close to the Black Ball Port Angeles ferry, is very pup friendly. Pups allowed on the patio. There are about 8 tables with umbrellas to shield from sun on patio. The service was great and immediately brought us water bowls for the dogs. They also continued to refill their bowls throughout the meal. The food was OK.

  Great patio for pups!

  I took my dog here for lunch and we sat on the patio. The waiter brought her a bowl of water right away and a couple of treats after I ordered. The patio is enclosed so that is helpful, and the food is really good! I highly recommend!

  Very Accommodating

  Friendly and welcoming. My dog was welcomed by the owner himself and given a big bowel of water. Great food as well!

  Not always good for fido

  We were trying to find a place to eat with our dog and called Smugglers Landing at about 5:30, as it seemed to be the only dog friendly full restaurant in town. The manager said their patio was usually only open when the ferries are in, but they were slow so he could accommodate us. When we arrived about 15 minutes later, a nice young man brought us menus. Then the manager came down to take our order. He was visibly stressed and said he'd gotten a dining room full of people since we called. We asked if he wanted to take our orders when he had more time, and he said he wasn't going to have more time, we just needed to hurry up. He was very short with us to the point of rudeness. We ordered, but then decided this was not going to be an enjoyable experience and canceled the orders. My husband told him that, while he appreciated his trying to help us, he didn't appreciate the way the man had spoken to him. There was a short, unpleasant exchange of words and we left. So, if the ferry is in and they're staffed for the patio it may be worth trying, but we won't go there again.

  great place

  Stopped by with my Saint. They are super friendly. Good food and they brought my dog a bowl of water and a milk bone. After a long day of traveling this is just what we needed.
