Entry Requirements
Complete the following entry requirements to travel to Estonia with your pet:
- Pets must be fitted with a microchip for identification.
- Dogs, cats and ferrets must be vaccinated against rabies. Vaccination must be valid during the journey.
- Pets traveling from the EU must be accompanied by an EU pet passport issued by an authorized veterinarian, including the identity of the owner, address and valid vaccination against rabies administered after microchip.
- Pets traveling from a non-EU country, including the U.S., must be accompanied by a health certificate (attached) issued or verified by an official veterinary inspector within ten days of travel.
- Health certificates must be accompanied by a declaration of non-commercial movement signed by the owner of the animal or by a person authorized by the owner.
- Visitors to Estonia are permitted to travel with a maximum of five pets. Visitors may exceed this maximum if traveling for the purpose of participating in competitions or sporting events, the owner provides written evidence of registration for the event, and the pets are over 6 months old.
Quarantine Information
Pets being transported into Estonia do not need to be quarantined if they meet all the necessary requirements listed above.
