You can travel with your pet to Oman if you complete the following requirements.
- You will need an import license from the Ministry of Agriculture and Fisheries
- Pets are required to travel with a Government Health Certificate endorsed by the country of origin (valid during the import period)
- You will also need to provide an Immunization Certificate against rabies. It must include that the immunization was given more than 1 month before departure but less than 6 months.
Dogs and cats arriving from rabies infected areas will be quarantined for 6 months. If you are coming from an infected area, you will need to apply to the Quarantine Veterinarian at Seeb International Airport (Muscat) in case of doubt regarding rabies infected areas. Any imported living animals/birds not complying with above mentioned conditions are subject to quarantine or other suitable actions.
