  Great for the dogs

  Easy check in. Good location to walk the dogs. Room was clean. Bathroom is a bit small and AC is noisy. Breakfast is ok.

  Great Stay!

  I highly recommend this hotel for a visit with your pet. Our room was very large with fridge and microwave, quiet at the end of the corridor close to an exit door. While conveniently located close to the entrance for the highway it is a very quiet hotel. There are very large grassy areas which was much appreciated - more than we have ever encountered anywhere before. Complimentary breakfast was good. Highly recommend and would definitely stay here again.

  Nice location, good value

  Stayed here since State College was full due to Parent's Weekend. Room was large, location was quiet and safe, with suitable nearby restaurants. Good sized dog area. Hotel looked like it had been cleaned well and refurbished, with good beds. Carpets near side entrances are pretty rough but walls and doors seemed clean, no trash left around. Simple breakfast. Definitely would stay again.

  Nice hotel for bringing your furry companion. Quiet, great beds for the pet owner. Older hotel. No exhaust fan in bathroom so it can feel humid until it dissipates after a shower. Bathrooms are small but rooms are large with a chair and desk. Nice pet relief area. Great location. We would stay there again.

  Our room smelled like dog urine and it was a very strong smell. The hotel overall was old and really needs updating. The breakfast did not have a lot of options. There was no gym and we were told we could just go "right across the street" to planet fitness but that gym wasn't just right across the street. Outside by the dumpster there were garbage pails FULL of doggie doo bags - not sure why they aren't just put in the dumpster. Location was good though.

  Our dogs were very happy here. The room was clean, bathroom just needs some cosmetic updates. The pet area is spacious and (we walked them 4 times) we found no ticks on our dogs. Breakfast was eggs, sausage, bagels, waffles, cereal, yogurt, fruits, coffee, tea, juices, bread, cream cheese, butter, jams, syrup, all good! The beds were on the hard side. There are cameras everywhere, so it made us feel secure. Key is needed to enter to the hotel. It's a little pricey, but would recommend and definitely stay here again.

  Nice place but strange smell

  The bed was comfortable and there was a great outdoor pool! Breakfast was boring. Nothing fresh. Biggest downside was a funky smell in the room. I ran the a/c high while I went out for dinner and it was less noticeable upon return. Maybe carpet was damp?

  Needs some serious updates

  I chose this hotel because it was showing as 4 and a half bones. It used to be a Comfort inn. It has not been cared for in quite some time, so isn’t quite like a Baymont that I remember at all. Not the best of area or atmosphere. For the price I would have stayed elsewhere. I have to say the wonderful woman at the front desk was absolutely great! The room is clean, but smell a little bit old.

  Good green space for pet relief

  Good price for what you get, good green space around the room for pet relief. We requested a room at the end of the hallway to access outside easily. Breakfast included, spacious rooms for pet to play fetch also.

  Very welcoming and dog friendly. Quiet and clean. Great stay for the price! The lady that checked us in (sorry I missed her name) was great, I wish there were more of her in the world!

  Older hotel, but clean and comfortable. Close to Interstate. Our room was the first inside the back door right across from the doggie area. This was so convenient, not having to walk through a lobby. It was snowing and bad weather, so this was also very helpful to be on the first floor. Will stay here again with our dog if in the area.

  Mixed review of this hotel

  We stayed twice here during one trip - on the way up and on the way back. The room we had on the way up was great and comfortable and did not feel like staying in a "dog hotel." The room on the way back was awful - smelled like mold and felt like a "dog hotel" but was priced like a nice hotel. I did not complain that night because we were exhausted and just needed to sleep. My overall advice is check out your room before you unload your stuff.

  Thankfully we were only there for one night. Desk clerk was very welcoming. Nice lawn and walking area for the pup. Bfast was a brown bag with water and fruit and snacks. Just an older hotel. Fridge and micro in the room.

  Very nice and definitely dog friendly

  Clean room, Comfortable bed, good micro and fridge. Good places to eat around the area (Teds Grill for wings!) very good area around hotel for walking the dog. Picnic tables and nice pool area if you are there with good weather. Only caution is beware of RV close to property. Some guy came out with his 3 dogs off leash and caused a bit of a problem for us as we were hanging out at the picnic table with our dog who was leashes. Not a hotel problem-a stupid guy problem. Would definitely stay again.

  It was Fine

  The hotel was fine, new bedding but dated decor. It was clean and near some gas stations and fast food options. Our issue was with the staff. We called ahead to let them know we would be late and were assured that they allow 24 hour check-in. We arrived at 430 am to find that they had marked as a no show. No problem, the room was still available. We got checked in and as we left, the registrar apologized and told me he had accidentally double charged us while adding our reservation back to the books. He promised he would fix it for us, but the fact that we were mistakenly charged after their initial mistake was annoying and if we'd been less careful with our spending. It could have sent our account into overdraft. At checkout however, the attendant was super nice and friendly so maybe our check-in experience was a fluke.

  This place is what you’d expect for a low level comfort inn. It’s dirty (like the kind of dirty where you don’t want to walk around without your shoes on). Staff was cordial. Will not stay again.

  Great pet-friendly hotel

  I'm not sure what that other lady was talking about, my GPS brought me right to the hotel when I entered the address listed on this site. The room is very nice, and it was only $20 extra to bring my two large dogs. There is a small refrigerator/freezer, which is really convenient when on the road. Comfy bed and very clean accommodations! We will definitely stay here again when in the area.
