The staff was nice other than smoking right outside the front door. The sheets were clean and the shower hot. The whole place is dingy, old, and needs a refresh. I don't recommend it.

This was a clean Super 8 with a decent breakfast and a GREAT location to Hill City! It wasn't perfect but didn't disappoint either. We would stay here again.

The staff was very friendly. They were also very helpful in directing us to places that we wanted to see or do. Staying in Hill city you could park your car, and just walk to dinner, or take a nice leisurely walk, without having to get into your car and drive somewhere. We had a room with a refrigerator so I could keep my medicine in it. So if we wanted we could actually go to the grocery store and get fruit and snacks. Our granddaughter came with, and she liked walking to the restaurants and shops to look around. Relaxing and laid back! We also had a little non shedding dog with. It’s not a new place, but kept clean and the staff would ask if we needed anything, and if everything was OK.

The hotel itself was okay, polite and helpful staff. Older property with actual window unit ac (with a filthy filter that didn’t allow a lot of air exchange). Breakfast was bare minimum. Sorely lacking if you’re traveling with dogs; very little property beyond the building so tight parking and not much grass. If you’re traveling with pets for crap’s sake clean up after your pet; I tracked in poo on my first night because of walking in dark grass area and it wasn’t from my dogs. When you find a place that doesn’t take pets, there’s the reason - crappy owners. Please be responsible and respectful when moving around with your mutts!
