  big dog park

  it took my dog there today. no dogs there. but i keep walking with him . until i see the sign beware of alligators. well then they need to put bigger fence around that pond. i left... i dont trust those alligators around dog park. i wont be going back...

  I've lived in this area for at least 5 years and it took me using this app to find this park. There weren't many dogs there and it's not like it's hidden, but I doubt you would find it unless you're a local. Thinking on behalf of the dogs, the park was perfect. We used the big side because we have two huskies and they had so much room to run, jump, and play. There was a lot of dirt like some reviewers said but not really that big of an issue in my opinion. I think owning a dog you should expect your life to be less tidy. I didn't go into the small dog park but I did get a look at it from the entrance and it looked grassier and had way more dogs to play with. There were even some big dogs in there. I think some people prefer it because the big park bends around the corner and can you make you feel like you may never catch your dog. Poop bags were provided at the main gate and there are several giant buckets full of water. There was also a fenced seclusion area by the bathrooms which was nice and big and would still allow your pet room to play. The humans get a couple of benches and a plastic table with several plastic chairs. The bathrooms are gross and since that could of been a huge plus considering most dog parks don't even have bathrooms, this was my one complaint.

  more dirt than grass

  This is a large park with 2 separate sides for big & small dogs. Unfortunately there is more dirt than there is grass so your dog will definitely need a bath after coming here. The park seems kind of dirty in itself (no soap in the bathrooms) but it's a dog park, so I'm not asking for much - just a nice big space for them to run.
