    DO NOT GO

i have been in the veterinary field for over 15 years and know dog behavior pretty well. despite the previous bad reviews I decided to give it a try with my pup. there was a German Shepard there that attacked my dog as soon as he came in. the owner wasn’t even paying attention and then when she did she kept saying her dog was just trying to play. BELIEVE the bad reviews and find another place for you and your pup to enjoy!

    Don’t Go - Not Safe

I took my pups here once and never again. Dogs not on leash from car to park, owners use as social hour instead of watching their dogs behavior, and it’s not very clean.

    Very nice park!

This is great park that was sorely needed in the lower keys area. There is a very large, fenced in area and a separate fenced area for small dogs. It is very well maintained, with a water source for drinking and a doggie pool. There is a grassy area and a beach sand area for dogs to get a good run in. There are chairs and benches for people to sit and conveniently located poop bags and barrels. This was a very well thought out park and a lot of work went in to raise funds to build it.

People who have rated this park low did so because of the bad experiences they've had with other dogs at the park, not the quality of the park itself. Encouraging people not to go to this park because of their bad experiences is unfair and, frankly, childish.

My only suggestion is to change the watering hose because it is full of mildew and you can smell and taste it. I let the hose run for about 30 seconds to get the standing water out of it before filling the bowl.

Be Safe. Stay away from this park.

Dogs travel from car to park with no leash most times. Many dogs dont have proper training. I saw nothing but 3 dogs, blood and 2 owners on the ground today as fighting continues. Save yourself the possible grief and go to KW or Marathon dog park.

    Amazing!

My dog moved here with us to the Keys from a very spacious area. Now he has only a small yard. I bring him to Bark Park as often as possible where he can socialize with other dogs, run, dig and paly. This park is a good time!

    Beware this park !

I wondered why most of the dogs here did not want to play with others. Today I found out. My dog, a very light spirit, who has never had a cross moment without provocation, was raked by a much larger dog. She was running in play & he caught up with her and put 2" scrape on her shoulder with his canines. It could have been worse, but it's enough. The aggressive dog's owner didn't seem to think much about this, and didn't even apologize. I doubt my dog will want to play there again. There's more I could say about this place, but this is enough. Beware if you take your dog here !

    A great find

So happy to find this place. They have several paddling pools and hose pipes so you can fill them up to cool your doggies down. My dogs had a great time running around and then cooling off in the water.
