Perfect way to spend an hour in St. Augustine, and our dog enjoyed it too! This place is so dog friendly that when you reserve tickets online, you're able to reserve a free spot on the tour for your dog. And, of course, there are biscuits for the furry tourists who visit. Our guide, Celeste, was knowledgeable, incredibly engaging, and funny. We learned a lot and enjoyed our visit tremendously.

So glad this was dog friendly!
I'm also a nurse so I think I have another level of appreciation for the tour. The presentation was educational and interesting. - MeganMar 15, 2023Such a fun tour!

We went with our dog to the quackery late night evil medicine part. It was amazing! Absolutely doing this again with the family! The hosts were knowledgeable and funny! They also were very accommodating when my dog needed to go outside. He just opened the door and let me take him out to the private garden. He kept the door open so I could still hear everything going on. Absolutely support this business! Fantastic!

This was such a great time, everyone was so nice and very informative. It's really quite interesting to hear about the history of Spanish medicine along with how something like an amputation would have been completed. Not only were we able to bring in our pup for the tour, but they even gave her a treat and had water ready just outside the shop. This is truly a pet friendly experience that everyone can enjoy. Our guide said they often cover different topics so we'll be back again!!
- RhondaOct 15, 2021Super dog friendly!
We were passing by the museum with our golden retriever and the great guy running the museum invited him in for delicious treats. Super dog friendly spot!

I cannot believe how great this was. It’s the absolute most affordable museum in town. Not only that, it’s so educational. They actually care here. Most importantly (to me!) they LOVE DOGS. They’re allowed absolutely everywhere, but more than that, they are WELCOMED.
- BreannaApr 28, 2021Fun for me and the dog
Both the pup and I felt welcomed immediately and as soon as we entered I was asked if he could have a treat. He slept while I enjoyed the tour. It was very interesting and well worth the money!!

Brought our 15 year old mutt Feta to this museum and was warmly greeted by the front desk staff. "Miss Kim" gave us a fabulous history lesson and Feta spent most of the time listening to her voice or getting scratched by another person on the tour. Nice to have a place to learn a bit while also giving her a break from the crowds.

We were so happy to find an indoor activity that we could do with our elderly lab to get her out of the heat for a bit. They tour was so entertaining and informative and they were so accommodating to our old girl. Learning about the different tools they used in the medical field back then makes me really appreciate modern medicine lol.
- JenniferNov 20, 2019Great tour!
I’m a nurse, so this was especially fun for me, but it’s a neat activity for anyone interested in history, especially medical. They were very accommodating to our German shepherd and even had treats
- LaurenMay 18, 2019Nice Tour
Very educational tour. They were very welcoming of our 50lb pit mix and gave him quite a few treats before the tour even started. The tour consists of sitting in a classroom setting for most of it. Our pup enjoyed the chance to nap a little in the AC during a long day of walking.
