Worth every penny!
Courtyard by Marriott Columbia CayceVery clean, modern and safe location! We have tried other Columbia area hotels on our frequent trips to FL. We have felt like the hotel grounds at others have been sketchy and we have been given dingy rooms that do not justify the pricey dog fees. We had a great night sleep with our golden retriever at this hotel. It was very quiet and the shower had great water pressure! The sidewalks and trails around the hotel were great for getting some exercise and a potty opportunity before hitting the road again. This will be our be planned stop from now on!
Fantastic Food but server not so dog friendly.
Graham's LandingWe chose Graham’s Landing based on the 5 bone reviews we read here. The patio is great and covered. When our server arrived with human waters, I asked for water for our golden retriever. She asked if we have ever seen those portable bottles of water that your dog can drink right out of. I said, we have one in the car. She then asked why we didn’t bring it in with us. I said our dog prefers a nice cold bowl of water. She then brought one but it felt like an inconvenience at that point. There was a shelf that had dog bowls on it even. We would return but just hope for a more dog friendly server. The shrimp quesadilla and the blackened grouper sandwich were outstanding!
A great hangout spot with your dog
The Brew KettleBrew Kettle is one of our favorite spots in Hudson. Matt and Ralph are great! The patio is big and very dog friendly. Great food and a diverse selection of beers.
Great spot tucked away on E. Bay
The Gin JointWe stumbled across the Gin Joint and stopped in for a cocktail before a dinner reservation. Great atmosphere with wrought iron fence and greenery surrounding the patio. Great drinks. Lots of doting and attention for our dog.
Cafe Toscano!
Cafe ToscanoWe celebrated our dog’s 3rd birthday with dinner at Cafe Toscano. He was treated like a king and enjoyed chicken, broccoli and risotto. Eager for warm weather to take him again!
Great dog friendly patio!
The Black Iron GrilleWe are regulars year-round at the Black Iron Grill. We especially love their patio with our golden retriever. We try to go once a week! The patio is spacious and you can order chicken for your pooch!
Great rooftop spot!
Henry's on the MarketOur dog loved the faux grass floor of the rooftop bar! He enjoyed people watching and the horses with carriages down below.
Wonderful walk with lots to see!
Shem Creek BoardwalkWe visited Shem Creek Boardwalk twice during our visit to Charleston. A wonderful sniffari with lots to see! The boardwalk takes you out to view the harbor, along Shem Creek and marshes. There are lots of great restaurants along Shem Creek that are very dog friendly. We saw playful dolphin on our second visit. Plenty of things to sniff along the walk.
A perfect Sunday brunch
Church and UnionWe have used Bring Fido to plan our entire 2 week trip. We stumbled across Church and Union but didn’t see it listed on the app. We inquired with the hostess about a private outdoor dining space overlooking Market St. They were more than happy to accommodate and treated our golden retriever like a king. They topped off his drink regularly and even asked if they could bring him bacon. The staff was enthusiastic about serving us. We loved it so much we are going back for dinner.
Nice stop after a long drive
Hyatt Place Columbia HarbisonWe called ahead to inquire about the small dogs only. The front desk was super friendly and was more than happy to accommodate our well-behaved golden retriever. BringFido took care of reserving our room and confirming approval of our dog. The hotel was very clean with lots of green space for potty breaks. The grounds felt very safe for late night/early morning potty breaks. Will definitely be our stopover on future trips.
Family Favorite!
Lost Dog CafeThe Lost Dog Cafe has been a longtime family favorite we visit multiple times on every trip to Folly Beach. This is the first time we brought our dog! He loved it! He even got his own scrambled eggs with cheese. You can’t go wrong with the LDC! It even has DOG in its name!
Amazing!
Taco Boy Folly BeachThis was our first time at the new Taco Boy location on Folly Beach! Everything about it was amazing! What a step up from the old Center St. location. Very dog friendly! Fresh water in a clean shiny bowl as soon as we sat down. The food, waiter and margaritas were all excellent!
A tradition on Sullivan’s Island
Poe's TavernWe begin every vacation in Charleston with lunch at Poe’s. Both the porch and patio are very dog friendly!
Go early in the morning during busy times.
Pineapple Fountain at Charleston Waterfront ParkWe went early on a Sunday morning and were the only ones at the fountain. We walked by 3 hours later and there was a line waiting to take photos. The park around the fountain is lovely with plenty of shade and benches with an occasional squirrel to keep things exciting! We also saw eight dolphins frolicking in the harbor.
Beautiful view and very dog friendly!
Palm Valley Outdoors Bar and GrillWe met friends for lunch and brought our golden retriever along. The patio was very dog friendly. Our server brought water for our dog as soon as we sat down. Our meals were superb and they brought out a free puppy patty for our dog. Highly recommend!
Super dog friendly!
Spanish Military Hospital MuseumWe were passing by the museum with our golden retriever and the great guy running the museum invited him in for delicious treats. Super dog friendly spot!
Great yappy hour!
The Reef RestaurantWe ate at the Reef twice during our trip to Vilano Beach. Our dog was enthusiastically accommodated both times and water was brought right out to him. Highly recommend for dog lovers. Great food and a great view!
Exceptional!
Forgotten TonicWe became big fans of this spot on a previous vacation. On this trip we brought our golden retriever and were so delighted to find out that on top of the great food & drinks we expected, it was also super dog friendly. We visited twice on this trip. They made our dog feel like a celebrity- the owner, the chef and multiple servers had to come out to meet him. Can’t wait to return!
Dog friendly patio & great view!
Aunt Kate'sWe enjoyed a wonderful lunch & drinks at Aunt Kate’s with our golden retriever. There were many other dogs on the patio and was obviously full of regulars who enjoy bringing their dogs. Very dog friendly!
Best meal of our trip & super dog friendly!
The FloridianWe tried The Floridian based on recommendation of a local helping us find something off the beaten path. Great food! Exceptional service and our golden retriever was readily welcomed on the patio. They brought him water as soon as we sat down. Can’t say enough about the quality of the meal! Two paws up!
Excellent breakfast!
Beachside DinerGreat covered patio with lots of room for our dog to spread out. Brought him water and he enjoyed sharing my BLTE to start our morning.
