Shem Creek Boardwalk

The Shem Creek Boardwalk in Mount Pleasant, SC is dog friendly. This 10-foot wide boardwalk is 2,200 feet long and offers panoramic views of a marsh and Charleston Harbor. You and Fido can start the walk together from the nearby parking area of Shrimp Boat Lane. Keep a lookout for the coastal wildlife in the marsh and creek! Dogs must stay leashed during the visit. Wonderful walk with lots to see!
We visited Shem Creek Boardwalk twice during our visit to Charleston. A wonderful sniffari with lots to see! The boardwalk takes you out to view the harbor, along Shem Creek and marshes. There are lots of great restaurants along Shem Creek that are very dog friendly. We saw playful dolphin on our second visit. Plenty of things to sniff along the walk.
