This dog park used to be one of our favorites. However, it seems like maintenance is nonexistent anymore. The water (for the water fountains) hasn’t worked in over a year. The “lake” is full of trash, extremely shallow, and full of rocks where the dogs jump from. It’s getting dark around 6:30 now, and there is not a single light in the park. Not sure how people that work for a living are supposed to be able to enjoy the park with our dogs if we can’t see.

raven loves this park, it has a few areas to sit in and not usually muddy with nice grass. the only problem is there is not shower which would be helpful when she gets muddy and some dog owners don’t pick up after their dogs which is gross so be careful where you walk.

We loved it but there were no dog shower which would have been great!!

Haven't had a bad experience at this park yet. It's clean with plenty of area for my Lincoln to run in the small park side. I haven't ran into the "owners not picking up after their dogs" problem. Clean and plenty of parking. It's one of our favorite in the area

Honestly, this park could be great. What ruins it are the people who come and dont pick up after thsir own dogs. Its impossible to even walk here without stepping in a pile of dog poop. Its everywhere, like land mines every step, and its totally disgusting. This has sort of been my problem with all the dog parks in the Plano area, tons and tons of poop. People who dont pick up after your dog - you are disgusting. Someone needs to come in and do a good paid job of cleaning up. Its gross.

We brought our excitable terrier mutt here before driving back to Tulsa. She loved sniffing around the small dog area and all three of us were grateful for the shade.
Since there were no dogs there to play with we took her to the middle section with a beach for large dogs. We kept her on a leash to see how she would do and asked permission from the other humans. Once everyone was good to go we let her off the leash and she even ventured out into the water a bit, for the first time ever. So cute!
We then visited the last large dog area, which thankfully is half covered with shade.
By this time there was one dog in the small dog area so we let her go back in.
She got in the car sleepy and happy and has been calm for the last hour and a half! - JamieMore than a year agoOne of the best kept dog parks I've seen!
To be fair, I don't have a ton of experience with dog parks (both of my dogs are very small, so they tend to mingle with creatures their own size); however, the ones I have visited in the past are usually nothing more than a little fenced-in area of grass. Not only is this place very well designed (both aesthetically and functionally), but it is home to not one, but TWO nice and large parks, one for small and one for bigger dogs. It is always well kept and the location is really convenient and pleasant. It's become one of those places where I go not just for my dogs, but for myself too! We love our park days!

Today was our 1st outing to Northbark dog park, my shibas had a blast! Everyone was pretty friendly that we met, and my dogs made some new 4 legged friends! We will def go back!

My dog loves going there. The small dog park is a little too small for him since he is so hyper. The large dog area is more than adequate. And they even have a deprecate area for them to play in the water. So you can take them if you want.

So tis review came up with 20+ trees showing the dog park you liked in a 50 mile radius. Don't think this website is very good about pinpointing locations. :-(

I have a blog with reviews of my dogs favorite dog parks in the area but this is definitely one of his favorite. Northbark has it all.
