nice park but not if it’s snowy or wet! then it’s a mud puddle. lots of trees and picnic tables and fully fenced.
- DominiqueOct 8, 2022Really cute park
Nice stop on our road trip from Colorado to Michigan. Tucked back in a cute park in the city. We started in the small dog area, but moved to the middle park to play with more dogs (we have a small-medium pup, about 35 lbs). The large dog area was really busy and a dog fight actually broke out. We really enjoyed ourselves and friendly dogs to play with.
- MelodieApr 30, 2022Lovely big park
Beautiful park and the dog park area is nice and big.
- JessicaMar 3, 2020Love it
My 2 dogs loved the park. I love that there is a section for small dogs. And most people clean up their poop. We love walking around the pond also. Great place for dogs and families. Just wish the water was on for the dogs and there was a trash can closer to the dog area.
- MaddieDec 3, 2019Close To I-80
Road trip from Denver to Minneapolis and this park was not only close to I-80 but also the hotel I stayed at in Omaha. It was a decent sized park, but it is on a hillside which I found a little annoying. The bottom of the park was mostly flight for easier running but also pretty muddy, so be sure to bring paper towels, dog wipes, or a towel!! There were also a lot of toys just throughout the park which was nice that I didn’t have to get any of mine super muddy.

I always stop here when on a road trip with my dogs. It is right off the interstate and has easy parking. It is well-attended with happy dogs and attentive, friendly owners. We always have a good time here. It has three areas — big dogs, all dogs, and small dogs.
- AmberDec 30, 2018Great stop for pet travelers
Only a few minutes off i80, and plenty of room for the dogs to run and play. A little muddy so bring some paper towels to clean up afterwards. Nice park for the humans to stretch their legs as well

I live across the river in Iowa and I like to bring my dog here to run off some energy (she is a border collie). Great location, three different areas to let your dog run in, and very well shaded. Downfall would be that some pet parents don't clean up after their pets so you have to watch where you walk, and some pet parents don't watch their dogs (so tiffs and fights happen). Also, it can get really muddy - without any grass cover on some areas.

Love that there are multiple fenced in areas to choose from! Lots of space to run!
- BrinMore than a year agoGreat shade and open area
Today I went to this dog park with my dog. There was a huge hill and lots of different areas for sitting which I thought was really nice. I liked that it was fenced in with 3 different areas for small, large, and all dogs. There was a water fountain when I went there in Early June 2017. The shade was great and all the dogs were friendly. No dogs could escape because it was double fenced. I am definitely coming back again!
- ChadMore than a year agoamazing park.
Love the city dog areas but this one is the best maintained even though....
Much like others.Sections need to be rotated and sodded/seeded regularly
As park budget allows for it.Some additional benches and small shading is needed in all the dog parks locally.
Would like to see some modernized signage or safe dog friendly obstacle activities at some point as well if funds can be raised.
- BobbyMore than a year agoPoor conditions for small dogs
After a few visits, we stopped going to this park because of the poor condition of the small dog area, and the lack of small dogs. There was lots of high weeds, and seemed it hadn't been mowed in more than a month. We had to use large dog area because there were no small dogs at the park, which was muddy and some of the dogs were a bit too aggresive.
- BrendaMore than a year agoGreat Park
Dogs and owners very friendly, there are some ignorant owners that do not pick up after their dogs, but there are also owners that will pick up after not only their own dogs but also other ignorant owners dogs also.

We took our border collie there a week or so ago (early April 2015) and was surprised at how icky the park was. Evidently not all pet parents clean up after their dogs. I was shocked at how much fecal waste was every where and you could tell most of it had been there for a while. I witnessed countless dogs "dumping" and no one cleaning up after them. We were there about 30 minutes before I had to leave because I couldn't handle the smell anymore. I'm sure it would be a terrific place to go if people would be more responsible for their animals.

The dog loves it here. I take her every night for about an hr and a half. The only negative is the huge hill you have to navigate to get from gate to area. A sidewalk or even gravel walk would be a big help for elderly and disabled.
- Joette NMore than a year agoJust wondering
I haven't been to the park yet but I am worried about the fence being close enough to the ground so my babies can't escape
- MikeMore than a year agoExcellent Park
Three large separate areas with some trees and watering stations. Trash cans and clean up bags for responsible owners. The trees in the area help keep things cooler on a hot day. Highly recommend.
- LauraMore than a year agoGreat park
The park has lots of trees for shade and few muddy spots with no grass (unlike some of the other parks in town). My dogs loved it and they didn't come home filthy. Make sure to bring a chair or blanket if you plan to stay for a while. It doesn't have any benches.

All pet parents have been responsible and friendly. The park has a nice area for the dogs and with three separate fenced in areas the more timid and smaller dogs can be separated from the group if needed.
- JenniMore than a year agoVery convenient
I was traveling with 2 big dogs. This park was very easy to find and very convenient from Hi. 80. Nice big area with parking close by. A great stop for traveling dogs!

Beautiful setting, easy to get to. We were traveling with our 50 pound "mutt" and ended up in Omaha for a couple of days. We visited this park and Heflinger Dog Park. This park was our favorite, although the area to run might be a bit smaller at this park. This park was muddy, but far less muddy than Heflinger Park. This area does a great job at fencing off the small dogs, the large dogs and the "all dogs" area. Plenty of bags and trashcans provided to clean up after your pet, and it was overall a very clean park. Several mature trees and rolling hills in the all dogs area, Dozer really liked that. Double gated entry way for each park area, which was very nice. We were there during the off season so the water was not on. Met a few friendly people and one person and basset hound that was not so friendly. :-) This was a great place to let our dog run and play and we will certainly go back when we are back in the area.
- KittyMore than a year agosomething for everyone
