Beautiful facility, nice benches and shade and water!

Big enough to play chase, but small enough to keep an eye on both my dogs at opposite sides of the park.
- Lee AnnApr 14, 2022Lovely park!
No one else there at 9:30am but the large dog area was very roomy for long ball throws, with grass and a paved shady area, benches and agility equipment. An easy stop off highway 50, very clean.

it was cold when we went so we had the park to ourselves. there’s separate areas for big dogs and little dogs which is nice. lots of places for them to run around and even some agility courses! which my big black lab was too clumsy to do lol. all in all it was a great park!

Went in the evening when there were no other dogs. Decently lit. Water and poop bags readily available. Good fence with no gaps. The dogs had a blast after a long car trip.

Was not expecting to find this gem of a dog park on our road trip cross-country trip.

This is a beautiful park, with everything from a water feature to shelter for humans during wet/sunny days. An obstacle course for training, nice landscaping, plenty of room to run, and most owners pick up after their pets. I wish I lived here!

Visited while in Hutchinson to see family. Our dog Zuri loved the park, loved chasing and playing with the one other dog there on a Wednesday morning. Agility equipment nice to have. If I lived here I'd be here every day. Lots of benches for people, plenty of stations with poop bags.

I was really excited to take my husky/shepherd to this dog park last night. He's extremely friendly and we were looking for a place where he could play off the leash. he's large so when we got there we went to the large dog area. We got inside the fence and a large dog (maybe a chow mix) came up to us and immediately started growling at my dog. The owner of the dog was far away and did not seem concerned. I tried to take my dog and go back out of the fence but the other dog jumped on my dog and bit him in the neck. The owner was nonchalantly walking over like it was no big deal and didn't even try to stop his dog from acting aggressively and biting. He finally got a hold of his dog and I took my dog and left. The owner never apologized and definitely did not remove the aggressive dog from the area as stated in the rules of the park. I will never ever take my dog back here. I am not going to risk him or me being bit by aggressive dogs that should not be allowed in this park. It's a shame too, my dog would have greatly enjoyed playing with others. He didn't even fight back when this dog bit him, he tried to run away but I hadn't even taken his leash off yet. He showed no aggression even though another dog did and bit him. Luckily, he is fine, he didn't get hurt beyond having some hair pulled out, his harness protected his neck, he had the other dog's spit all over him though, it's a miracle he wasn't hurt. The rules are posted at this dog park but there is no one enforcing them and other dog owners are not being accountable for their dogs.
