    Members only

while this park looks great- I’m only giving it 3 stars since it is a member’s only park. Great if you’re a local but not so much if traveling through. I do understand the private parks just wish we could have enjoyed this one. no dogs actually in the park when we stopped by and several dogs outside of the fenced in area off leash.

    Home Dog Park

We pay a small annual fee to be a part of this group of dog parks- Champions is our favorite. Not very crowded and plenty of space for running and smelling. My terrier and I love the small dog section and the access to join the big dogs.

    One rude woman!

One woman is very rude!, we love the park everyone is friendly except this one woman. I hope new comers don't meet her first. My dog loves all the dogs, I love all the regular people, nice community. Just beware of KIM! With her two grouchy dogs that have to wear shock collars. If you do have a run in with Kim don't take it personal apparently it's just her, she's rude to everyone. It won't stop us from going, it's a nice place! Well taken care of with sweet people that love their dogs. Would have given 5 bones if not for KIM!

    Not Traveler Friendly

We decided to take our goldendoodle, Zoey, with us on vacation. As we drove, we used this app to find dog parks in Louisville. We got there, only to be denied entry because you need a key card. Fortunately, we were let in by some members since we told them we were from out of town. The park itself was nice, but had a mudpit. It's nice for those who live nearby, but not for those from out of town.

    Wonderful park, dogs, and owners

My dog loves this park. It's not as large as the Tom Sawyer park, but I think that the owners are friendlier. There's the occasional bad owner, as with any dog park, but overall the owners and dogs are well-behaved. The park is kept very clean, with adequate water, shade, benches/pavilion for owners, and poop bags. Park membership is $30 per year, which includes access to all of the Louisville Dog Run parks.
