Victory Prairie Dog Park

2.5 acres all fenced in, mostly grass, a few gravel paths & wood chips by the picnic tables. The regulars have provided a box with bags for clean up, and bowls for water, but you should bring your own water. The locals are friendly, but some dogs are overly alpha. Not a good place if your puppy is shy. The handout from the city says parking on Russell is allowed, but some neighbors yell at people who park in front of their homes. Visit Website

    Lots of Room to Roam

This is a big park with 2 separate areas. There is a box for donations of doggie bags for clean up. I have been coming here since my dog was 4 months old and have never had a problem with any of the dogs or the owners. This is right on the border of Mpls and Brooklyn Center right off of Victory Memorial Parkway.

This is one of two parks I frequent the most.

    My dog hates to leave.

    Careful of ticks!

Most of the regulars here are very nice, but like in all places, there are a few rude people out there too. Large park, though not in the best neighborhood. Be sure your dog is up to date on tick treatments, as there is lots of tall grass and trees all over the park. Careful for all the bumps in the road when you are driving down the street, saw someone mess up their car the other day from driving too fast on the street. Best to bring your own jug of water, and some plastic shopping bags to donate in the box for "cleanup bags".
