We were traveling with our dog Jack and didn't know how we could tour Savannah. Well! We found Oliver Bentley's dog tour and it was a highlight of our trip. Our docent was fantastic and we had a ball. We visited 7 squares and learned the histrory of each....very interesting and an excellent presentation.

Absolutely a great way to see the city / old town and hear the wonderful history. A very personal tour and the four legged ones will certainly have a blast! Highly, highly recommended.

Beautiful walk with the dogs with some historical substance. Travelling with dogs sometimes limits what you learn about a place and I wish there were more options like this in cities with histories to tell. Thank you Lisa and Abbey! I will recommend to every travelling dog owner I know.

If visiting Savannah with your furry family member this tour is a must! Before the tour began the owner, Eric, came out to meet us which I found to be very nice and made the tour feel more personal. Our tour guide, Lisa, was fantastic and very knowledgeabl, able to answer all of our questions. Hercules also loved his guide, Abbie girl, who showed him all the best places to sniff. We visited two weeks after Hurricane Matthew moved through so we ended up be the only people on the tour, which was nice, because it felt more like a stroll through the town with the locals than a guided tour. We all loved the tour and highly recommend it and if you can visit in October, we went at the end of October and it was beautiful. Hercules also loved the complimentary treats!!

We scheduled a private tour because we were unsure how our three dogs would act around other people and dogs. Both Eric, the owner, and Lisa, our tour guide, were very pleasant and accommodating. Lisa did a great job of explaining the history of Savannah, as well as pointing out famous movie spots (Midnight in the Garden of Good and Evil). Each of the dogs was also provided a small 'walk a bout' bag of cookies. Both humans and dogs enjoyed themselves! I would highly recommend this tour!

I took the tour with my chocolate lab, Linus. First of all, my tour had to be rescheduled because of a conflict of some kind and the owner, Eric, was extremely nice and accommodating about it. I ended up being able to do it the very next day. On the downside, the store was closed so no biscuits. I was also the only one on the tour that day so it was nice having a private tour all to myself, but as a dog lover I got to admit that I was looking forward to seeing some other dogs. Anyway, my guide was very knowledgeable and upbeat. I learned a lot of the more obscure histories of Savannah that you don't hear mentioned in other tours or guide books. It was all very interesting and a very pleasant walk. :)

This tour is a definite must when visiting Savannah! Munchkin had a great time and followed right along with our tour guide, Riley. And the treats are a bonus too!

Read about the walk on bring fido. We LOVED it, and so did our German Shepherd! I highly recommend the historic walk for anyone with or without their furry family! A bag of dog treats is included!

We decided that on our recent trip to Savannah that our dog, Monty, would go with us. Oliver Bentleys was on our list of businesses to visit and finding out about the tour was icing on the cake. We We booked the tour, but the guide was sick and unable to make it. Since that was our last day in town, Eric, the owner, wanted to make it up to us. He refunded our money and gave us a tin of his treats along with the normal bag that you get on the tour. He and Ollie B, the face of the company, walked around town with our family and Eric showed us some of the things he loves about the city as well as great places to eat that were accommodating to dogs. We had a fantastic time and couldn't believe that he took time out of his busy day as a small business owner to make us feel like we were his only customers!

Ok, go for the tour and stay for the biscuits! First, more than anything, the service at Oliver Bentley's is exemplary. Second, the tour is a fantastic historic walking tour of Savannah that will give you and your pup some great exercise while learning about the city as you would on other tours while at the same time talking about dog specific interests as well. Not to mention, because Ollie B's isn't one of those historic tour chains, you may get your tour guide all to yourself…as we did! It was fantastic for us and our dog…who was tuckered out at the end of the tour and crashed hard back in our hotel room while we went out for a relaxing dinner. Finally, don't forget to pick yourself up a couple pounds of their biscuits…our dog is a nut for them and I am sure yours will be too.
