  Crowded, small, no view

  I would not recommend this. We went on a Wednesday morning, and there was a line to get into the parking lot. It’s a short, narrow path that is crowded if more than 5 people are there. You really cannot see much at all. To quote the high school field trip students behind us “there are hundreds of lighthouses in Maine and this isn’t even the best.”

  Pretty But Trail Closed

  Gorgeous view, but trail was closed, so not much to do.

  Pretty but not a lot of trail

  This place is absolutely beautiful! But since I'm rating it for dogs, it's just okay. There's a path down to the lighthouse and a trail that's nearly hidden. The trail is very short and leads to a series of wooden steps to the rocks. Make sure your dog likes to climb because that's all there is to do.

  The scenery is beautiful, and I give it a thumbs up as a human. If you're with dogs, it's a nice place to stop by, but I wouldn't go out of your way to visit.
