Agua Caliente Hill Trail

Agua Caliente Hill Trail #46 in Coronado State Park is 9.25 miles (round trip) of a relatively strenuous trail (lots of climbing). This trail is too hot for summer hiking but perfect for a winter day. The trail offers beautiful views of the city. Although Cat Track Tank at 1.6 miles sometimes has water, it's best to bring a good supply for you and your dog. Visit Website

    Great hike with views

My dogs and I had a great time on this trail. It's an out-and-back with a steep ascent at the beginning. The views of the desert valley we're gorgeous, and there wasn't much foot traffic. Dogs are supposed to be leashed, but that rule was only loosely followed by other hikers. Bring water and go early - there is little to no shade.
