    Great hike with views

My dogs and I had a great time on this trail. It's an out-and-back with a steep ascent at the beginning. The views of the desert valley we're gorgeous, and there wasn't much foot traffic. Dogs are supposed to be leashed, but that rule was only loosely followed by other hikers. Bring water and go early - there is little to no shade.
