Radnor Lake State Park

Arriving at this park was a HUGE reminder that just because it’s on BringFido it doesn’t mean you should go. Set in a very affluent neighborhood it’s a gorgeous park that was meant to be enjoyed by dogs. But no, dogs are only allowed on the asphalt parking lot and road, not the trails. I should have read the reviews because I would have totally passed on it. Quite frankly, I found all of Tennessee to be very dog-unfriendly! (It ranked one bone rating because I was forced in order to submit my review. It gets zero on my puppy scale.)

The park is cramped and very crowded. They also do not allow dogs on any of the trails, so you're stuck on the road that is in very bad shape as it is...

As previously stated by others, this trail is not great for dog owners. Dogs are limited to the highly-trafficked paved trail that circles the lake. The scenery is nice, but overall I would take my dog to a more dog-friendly area.

As others have stated, the trails are not dog friendly. I don't go to a state park to walk on concrete!

This is a great place to take your dog for a walk but the paths are open to walkers/ joggers/ runners and bicyclists. If your dog struggles with walking close to you, probably not the best place to go. Mine loves the water and she was continuously tempted to jump in the yucky swamp water. Dogs allowed on paved road but not the trails. I will take my dog back because it is a pretty place for walking.

This was a beautiful trail and lake, we had a wonderful time! However, dogs are NOT permitted on the trails, only the paved road areas. It's a shame, we were expecting more dog areas. The trails around the lake are the main focus of hiking! My dogs are on leashes, others did not leash their dogs. I find that very aggravating.
