Great idea for dogs and their humans..

All in all this is a great idea for dogs and their owners but the place is too small and can get super crowded. Also we noticed allot of people leaving their dogs in play areas unattended, which is the idea, but some dogs were aggressive. Nice place, just too small, too crowded and I didn’t enjoy.

    Great concept

It is a great concept but it needs work in the execution of it. plenty of seating which could be cleaner. Smiling friendly staff. Painful (really very lengthy painful) process to sign up online and pay for a visit coupon.

You MUST do this sign up at their website and my mobile browser was very slow which did not help, but they want a lot of personal data for one visit. I made up some of it because frankly I have enough emails from ID protection telling me another company has leaked my data to criminal hackers (another company who said they think data security is incredibly important... they all do).

And it was HARD to find where to click to get a one day pass. Obviously they’d rather you sign up for recurring fee subscriptions.

So once inside after navigating the phone screen scanner there was a very muddy area which of course some dogs love, but isn’t ideal for most and their owners. I get it, rain happens.

What they could do is clean up the poop. I had stinking dog crap on my shoes while trying to avoid it. Yes they ask people to pick up their dog messes, and people should absolutely do it, but if they don’t monitor that, and sort out their customers who don’t, then they need to be doing it. There was a lot of mess not picked up, which is quite disgusting.

They have a water station and lots of dog water bowls available but they aren’t very clean looking.

Good beer, but we decided to move on after one. I love the idea of what they are trying to do. It definitely has appeal as an idea, but the staff/management needs to sharpen up the experience if it is to be a success for folks like me who want more for the money paid.

I hope it improves and does well. I’d like one nearer me, if they can make it work.

    Awesome Pawsome!

Sommer loved this place. Lots of open space for dogs to run and play. Shady areas for dog parents. I loved that they were on top of “problematic pups” and only allow neutered and spayed dogs. Food was delicious and drinks were great.
Expect to pay a fee and fill out a questionnaire online, but it’s worth it!

In town for a day and this was AMAZING!

We went on a cross-country trip a few years ago and this was by-far the best dog park we visited the whole trip. Food and shade for us, fun and toys for our dog! Everyone there was very considerate of each other, the dogs were all very well behaved, the staff was diligent, and the food was excellent. I couldn't have asked for a better experience.

    Our Absolute Favorite Dog Park

We LOVE this place. My dog and I go almost every day - we live very nearby and invested in the annual pass. It's a HUGE park with plenty of area for the dogs to run around.

I've seen some of the negative reviews on here and it doesn't really align with my experience - of course owners are responsible for their own dogs even though there is staff present. If your dog makes a mess, you clean it up. If your dog starts a fight, you get him out of it. The "Bark Rangers" are there to respond when the owners can't/won't.

It does tend to get crowded, but mostly during "Yappy Hour." And even though there are many people and dogs around, it's plenty big enough. We've made so many friends at Mutts and we're so lucky to have a place like this in our neighborhood!

    Fantastic place

Best dog park in the area, has a daily fee or you can buy a membership. Full bar and food, two runs, music and TV. Lots of people visit daily.

    Great on a sunny day!

Stopped by with my golden cocker retriever, Coby, This is a very dog-centric outdoors venue and after paying the entry fee, Coby enjoyed socializing with the other dogs in the large dog area. Noticed some nice touches: a bath area, lots of open space, and things for dogs to climb on or run around. We grabbed a hot dog, burger and Mexican coke while Coby enjoyed his dog treat - a sausage and biscuit. We came later in the evening and it was beginning to get cooler, but they had heat lamps to keep us warm.

    Mutts

$6 to get in for the day. Tons of dogs, typical inattentive owners but it's a Saturday. Takes a long time to get a drink, tons of staff but i don't see anyone being productive. Tons of poop, i mean tons! Great potential but they missed the mark. Have a beer and drink the anxiety away.

    Absolutely Love this Place

Your dog with love this place, no matter what size. They have a small dog and large dog area. It's nice and gated, they even have a place to rinse your dog off when it gets muddy. They have happy hour, great margaritas, and awesome, friendly service. Most of the people we talked to were not from Dallas, so we don't know how they locals were, but the people we talked to were friendly. Overall I would highly recommend this place!

    Dog park in uptown

It's not $5 for a day pass, it's $7. They advertise that they have monthly passes, but when I asked about it, they don't offer them. You can by a year-long pass for approximately $140. We don't go often enough to spend that much money. People do not pick up after their dogs and there is dog feces everywhere, so the place smells terrible.

    PERFECT for dogs!

This is actually a dog park that just happens to serve burgers, hot dogs and beer. They do charge a fee per dog but it is minimal and it pays for the attendants who pick up after the dogs. The dogs can play in the large or small dog area while humans have a drink. You are welcome to sit at the tables and have a server or grab a beer at the bar in the dog park and sit right next to your pup.

    Our favorite place!

We have been going there for 3 months now and we absolutely love it!! Plenty of seating (unless it's a super busy day), trees for shade,
Large water area for dogs to drink or take a splash in, trash cans throughout for doggie bags and trash. Everytime we have gone, our server has remembered our name. All around great place, plus it has a bathroom! What more could you ask for?! Must visit!!

    Stay Away!

Awful experience! Our first time and we won't return. Where should I begin? Dog park, the employees inside are useless, I had to pick up after my dog and ended up with poop on my shoes at the end of the day cause the employees don't do their job. There was an aggressive dog and nobody did nothing, we had to pull our dogs out because of that dog, we told the employees and manager and they said they couldn't do anything about it, one of my dogs ended up with a bite.

Restaurant, the service is the worst I've seen, we sat there unattended for about 15 minutes, I went and find a waiter to come and clean our table and take our order and his first question, I swear to god, was "has anybody been to your table yet?", brilliant. Besides you could see other waiters walking around trying to figure out to what table did the food they were holding belong to. Food took long and was nothing special, besides the order was wrong and we needed to wait even longer to get it right, oh, the draft beer that they supposedly have 4 choices but they only had two.

So, my suggestion, grab a coffee, go to your nearest dog park for free and avoid this place.
