Traveling from MN to GA and stopping at dog parks every evening. Benson Park offers a spacious area and multiple agility structures. Unfortunately, weather was a bit drizzly so no other dogs at the park. Walked the dog area perimeter and disappointed that not all owners are picking up after their pets. Also leashed up and walked the entire park - very nice.

On a cross country trip and made a stop here to let the dog get some of his energy out. They have split areas for large and small dogs and a spout for water. Jasper had a blast

We stopped in here on our recent road trip and were quite impressed. Because it was so cold, the grass was still icy and there were no other dogs present, but our pups had fun checking out the agility equipment and ‘watering‘ the trees. Human bathrooms were convenient and there’s ample parking. Nice local neighborhood.

We are travel with our two boxers and made a stop at Heritage dog park. It was a nice park with plenty of agility toys to play on. An enclosure for large dogs and a separate for small. Lots of shade and watering stations. It was a great pit stop to burn off some boxer energy.

The dog park has a large area with separate areas for large and small dogs. Sign on fence states no one under 12 years old is allowed in the fenced are, which I think is a smart idea. Lots of dogs enjoy this park. Several benches, trees and water fountains for pets & owners. The park bathroom facilities are just outside the dog park area, which is very convenient. The rest of the park has something for everyone with playrounds, picnic areas, a walking trail and even a small creek running through the property. Very nice park overall!

This is a great location for a dog park, but since they dropped membership fees, it can be dangerous to pets. People bring aggressive dogs there at times & when I called to complain about my dog being attacked by the same dog on 3 different occasions, I was told I use the park at my own risk. What kind of BS is that? I wish they made it members only again. I would happily pay to help insure our dogs are protected and we have somewhere to turn if there is a problem. City of Chattanooga does NOTHING.

No longer a membership park, it’s free to use. We bring our dog almost daily and everyone is friendly and looks after their dogs. I love the regulars who have been coming for years, they really make you feel welcome.

We're newer to the park but we have had good experiences. The owners really watch their dogs and I feel like it's a safe and fun place for the pups.

This dog park is wonderful! McKamey Animal shelter maintains the park and chattanooga residents must meet and attain to certain standards to be allowed in the park. The park is huge!!! There is a small dog and a large dog park area. Plently of shade and benches to enjoy the day. There is also a water station for them to drink up. There are regulars that always come to park such as Boy Tux and Girl Tux. We all tend to know one another and especially the wonderful pups who come often. Its really a great community to be apart of.
