Not only is there a dog play area, there is several trails you can choose right by the dog park.
- VictoriaDec. 20, 2022Not far off the interstate!
Pit stop to let my dogs run while on a road trip. Only 15 mins off I-40 which was a plus. Nice big play area and easy parking. My border collie was being a jerk, so we left early. But everyone was super friendly! Keeping this one on my list for sure.
- VivianSep. 9, 2022Great park with water access
Not often that you find a nice dog park where your dogs can also swim. Good spaces including some trails through the woods. Nice clean bathroom for humans, too ;)

So much space to play, run and swim! open space, wooded space and the water!! Border Collie heaven.

we got there a little late but it was a beautiful area for our pup to run around and stretch her legs. i would definitely go back again.
- MaddieNov. 16, 2021My favorite park in Knoxville!
This is without a doubt my favorite park in Knoxville! Some of the smaller parks make me nervous because they feel cramped. this one has so much space, and a walking path. while my dog plays I walk around. It’s so nice I love that there are three sections, one for big dogs, small dogs, and a swimming area!
- NoemiJun. 22, 2021Awesome park!
I took my 2 Frenchies, one is 1 ½ and the others almost 14, and they both had a blast! park is well maintained and has a small dog side as well. I would suggest grabbing some water at the fountain before entering as there is no water inside the small dog side.
- AlexApr. 22, 2020AMAZING!
We’re driving thru from OH to FL and I am so happy we stopped here! It’s a little further off the highway than I expected but 100% worth it. This is the nicest dog I have ever been to. It’s very large. It has a swimming area but we didn’t use that. It’s has trails in the fenced in dog park, and as someone traveling it’s nice to be able to walk around & stretch my legs as well. This was a great stop to tucker the boys out before another few hours on the car. Whether you live around here or just driving thru, this park is worth the stop!!

nicest dog park we have ever been to! A bit hard to find as you have to go down a road leading to a marina
- PeytonApr. 25, 2019Awesome Park!
We love this park! It has a large open area, wooded area, swimming area, and a walking track. The swimming area is fenced off for owners that don’t want a wet dog.

Driving from OH to AL and stopped here to give the pups a break. Not far from the highway. Dogs loved the water! Mix of everything here- water, woods, play area. Not huge but enough.
- KimberleeMore than a year agoBest dog park around!
I travel 20 minutes to get to this dog park 4 days a week, it is so worth the trip! The park is well maintained, scenic and provides a place for dogs to play in water.
- KimMore than a year agoso many options!
Took my dog here for the first time today. GREAT for water loving dogs! If not water living, plenty of other space for running. Only negative is there is a lot of rock/gravel which can get hot/tear up feet if not careful but plenty of grassy areas surrounding it. Can barely get our girl out of the water! Love it!
- Patty PritchettMore than a year agoGreat chance to run through the woods!
Found this park while driving cross country. Finally my dogs got a chance to run through the woods off leash! Although the park is a bit small compared to some others, it is plenty big enough for running and playing with other dogs. The swim area is only for dogs that will stay with you. It is not fenced so we (with site hounds) could not use it.

Great park for water dogs!. They have a gentle sloping ramp into the water or a dock for dogs jump off of. Besides the water area, the rest of the park is really nice, varied terrain and pretty large. This park is also next to 8 miles worth of trails. I would most definitely come back again!
- NicoleMore than a year agoGood find on a road trip!
We were traveling from MD to TX with a big hound dog who needs to stretch his legs every few hours. We found this dog park by accident and what a treat! Before long, my hound was at a full run through the woods, leaping over logs and loving it. I'm sure he slept better that night for finding this park.
