    Great Dog Park!

Clean, nicely shaded, artificial turf park with plenty of space to run and play. Great for dogs of all sizes (two separate fenced areas - one for <35lbs, one for >35lbs). Always worth the drive.

    Best Park Around

we make the 16 mile trip often for our big girl. there are only 2 pens but they have artificial turf so they can hose it down every evening. it is by far the cleanest park I’ve ever been to.
we take her to other parks so she can get dirty and dig an occasional hole, but I think this is by far the healthiest way to get out and enjoy some fresh air. it gets busy at certain times but we are lucky we can come when it isn’t the busy time.
if there was an award for dog parks, I would certainly nominate this one!

    Love this dog park!

I absolutely love this dog park. The dogs and owners who come here are friendly and great to hang out with! Great bunch of dogs who come in the morning. The area has been updated with astroturf so there is no grass or dirt/sand which keeps the park clean. There are always and unlimited amount of toys and there is a water fountain present. There are 2 pens one for small and one for large dogs. Definitely worth checking out.

smaller dog park with great potential

Located at the Minneola Trailhead, this dog park is smaller than most but still has the amenities of Lake Hiawatha with less traffic. It's next to a kid's playground and restrooms.

It would have been 5 Bones!!

My husband and I took our dog to the park this weekend for the first time. We were very impressed with the size and cleanliness of both the big and small dog playing areas. Our dog is 39 ponds so she had to be in the larger size dark park. She was running around and having fun until two medium to large aggressive dogs entered the park. They both starting jumping on our dog and trying to attack her. My husband luckily was able to scoop our dog up from the madness and take her to safety. This is why we only are given 4 Bones. It has nothing to do with the park itself, but the way others did not have their dogs properly trained and prepared to mix with other dogs before bringing them out. We ended up putting our dog in the small dog park where her and another adorable puppy played well together. That was a much better experience. We will definitely bring her back, but we are more prepared and aware of getting her out before it is too late.
