This dog park is spacious and inviting for dogs of all sizes. Their watering stations and human seating/shade areas are well-kept. Everyone we encountered was friendly. Treat your dog to an amazing outing at Vero Beach Dog Park.

I bring my dog here almost every night. He loves running with the other dogs and getting rid of excess energy. All of the other owners I met have been very friendly, and clean up after their dogs. I have only seen one aggreseive dog, no fights. The owners and/or the dogs tend to resolve it on their own. There are two sections - one for small dogs and one for large dogs. I go to the big dog side, but there are some little dogs that come to the big dog side and like playing with the big guys. They can hold their own. I do wish there were more shade canopies. Remember to spray yourself down with OFF before coming. There are little gnats (at least in the evening) that will bite your legs and drive you crazy. There is a gate that goes out into the water that some people let there dogs swim in.

This dog park is, without question, a solid 5 boner. Running water with water dishes, poop bags, seating areas, grass and trees. Remember, it's about the dogs, but this park has the nicest people too! Of course, you will always run into the public at dog parks - so, if you feel any tension with other people, just practice the social skills that you've learned. Your dogs get how it's done and will be just fine. See an extra poop, pick it up.

This dog park is one of the best I've been to and I've been to most of the ones in the Treasure Coast of Florida. It's also getting a huge update I don't know when it'll be done but it's already started. That is a large dog park a side for small dogs and a side for big dogs. I take my two little guys there almost everyday nice people, great dogs, awesome Park. There is a donation box where you can make donations this park is completely run on donations

I am a resident of Vero Beach. This dog park is my and my retriever's Fun Place to go. The Dog Park is fenced off into large and small dog areas. Our puppy is currently 7 months old and we have been going here for two months. He has a wonderful time playing with the other dogs. Since we have been going we haven't seen any instances or fights. We did see a boxer type dog in the area getting grumpy and we steered clear of that dog. However, our puppy just loves it. All dogs get into running and chasing tennis balls. You can't get protective of your tennis ball (although many are just thrown around for general use. ). The dogs don't care who throws the ball. Both parks are good sized. The large dog park is really large. Poop bags and disposal areas are located throughout the area. They have a hose available to rinse your dog off if he gets muddy. I use this often with my puppy. In short, Hunter (my puppy) and I love this dog park. The reviews on this park are old as the areas are fenced and divided.

My dogs go crazy when we go over the bridge because they know where there going it's a great place for them to socialize with other dogs and it's very clean and friendly.
- Mary MargaretMore than a year agoSo blessed to have this wonderful facility.
Fenced small and large dog areas. Water fountains for dogs and their owners. Covered areas with seating. Don't know who has more fun here, the dogs or their owners. Everyone is so friendly. Lots of new trees have been planted. This park is beautifully maintained by generous park lovers. The City of Vero Beach does not contribute financially to the upkeep of this facility. Please keep this in mind when enjoying this park. Donations are gratefully accepted. Have a Doggy good time at the park.

Wonderful park. It is now fenced. Water fountain and more shade trees will be in place as donations are made. Really, I can not say enough positive about this park.

I personally don't understand all the negative reviews here, but maybe it's because I don't have high expectations for dog park amenities. I thought it was very nice. They provided tennis balls for the dogs to play with, buckets of water for them to drink, chairs and picnic tables under the shade trees, and plastic waste bags so owners can clean up after their pets. I have a beach house in Vero and have taken my dog to this park several times without any problems. There were big and small dogs running around and playing together. There's an area where your dog can go swimming if he/she needs to cool off. The people I've met have been very nice and courteous about cleaning up after their dogs. I've only seen one dog get a little aggressive/territorial but his owner took care of things right away. There is no separate fenced area so if your dog is prone to wander, you'll need to keep an eye on him/her.

Rather annoyed that Vero Beach has very few parks that allow dogs. If you travel to Broward County you will discover many dog friendly parks. Apparently, dogs don't need exercise here.

People at this park ver rude. Take yiur dogs elsewhere. One gentlemen apparently has made himself the CEO of the park and is extremely rude shouting out rules and regulations as if he was conducting a mission .
