My hubby found Colby Jack abandoned- hairless, fleas, and 4lbs. He is now our little angel! We think a Maltese mix! Did the DNA and he’s
7 different breeds!! Chihuahua, Toy poodle, Maltese, Lhasa, Shih Tzu, Pomeranian, and dachshund!!

We love visiting Hilldale shops and outdoor restaurants!! Most dog friendly! Cafe Hollander, Forage, UW Bookstore and several shops are our fav. The green space and open air seating everywhere! We accidentally went during “Yappy Hour” and it was so fun!! Glad we had Colby along!! Caricature drawings of your dog, areas to donate to Dane county Humane Society, and treats at every store with discounts!! Great place to spend a few hours with your furry friend !!

Spent a beautiful sunny September day with my pup in the Dells. Off season so it was quiet (very nice). They were SO dog friendly - even allowed Colby in the store so I could buy the ticket and in the waiting area. I’d been on the tour several times before, but this was the first with a dog. Colby sat in his backpack on my lap, therefore he was free. It was a fun activity for the dog and Mav was a great duck driver and tour guide. The tour route itself is a little “so so” therefore the 4 bones. But 5 bones for dog friendly and employees!!!

The employees at Ski-Hi saw me sitting outside with Colby chatting with other customers. They overheard me say “my elderly mother is in there alone so I’m keeping watch from outside”. Immediately the employee advised I could bring my dog inside the store if leashed and well behaved!! Yay!! Beautiful country store with Apple “everything”!! And syrups, jams, cute gifts, etc. The picnic area is beautiful and the outdoor patio covered with umbrellas. Please pick up after your dog in the picnic area. We want to continue to be welcomed!!

Recently visited with my elderly Mom and pup Colby. Wonderful shaded outdoor mall - open outdoor hallway space with stores on either side and ends. TJ Maxx is a must! Most stocked TJ Maxx I’ve ever been to and they have a dog VIP wall by the bathroom!! The employees gave Colby a treat and took his pic for the “wall!” Good for socialization and people watching.

Lovely patio, dog friendly, great food and beer! They welcomed my little pup and let me pick the table “we” were most comfortable at.

Patio is out front so your pup can watch the world go by! And the coffee is delish! Splurged on a Chocolate Floridachinno! YUM! They even brought the drink out to me when I said my dog was waiting on the patio for me. Super friendly staff!

The good - can’t hear the airplanes landing right outside your window. The bad - stayed on a Saturday night and was put on 7th floor. Nightclub above me blasting dance music and the base beat was vibrating in my room. I put my sound machine on high and that didn’t even drown out the base beat. Had drove 9 hours and had a 10 hour drive day Sunday. At least I didn’t have a 4am flight. Ask for a low floor! It was too late for me to change rooms as the music didn’t start until 8PM - when I was trying to sleep. Other than that, nice place, secure parking, felt safe, coffee in lobby AM, good service, and a nice room.

This is the second time I’ve stayed here on my travels from FL to WI. The location is off the interstate so it’s quiet and I love having a coffee shop and gas station right next to the hotel. PetSmart is right next door too - walkable. Yes, the rooms are a little old and used, but they have a great little grass area in front and I feel safe here. That’s important to me. Front desk clerk was super friendly and helpful.

We camped at CH with our pup for 3 nights. Loved it! Colby could go anywhere except the small beach. He was even allowed in the picnic area. Luckily we didn’t run into any sand burs as he’s a Maltese mix and it would have been a mess. We had a great time. Campground is small, quiet, and clean. Not a place for partiers.

We love KPPSP! It’s so peaceful here! We have a small dog, so the ALLIGATORS give me a bit of scare, so I carry Colby in his backpack when we hike here. It’s like being in Montana minus the mountains. Views to forever and the sunrise/sunsets/starry skies are amazing. Lots of hiking and wildlife.

Lots of places to sit with your pup! Outside on the sand, under an umbrella, or on the deck under cover …it’s all open for pups. It can get busy so if you have a small pup bring a carrier.

We stopped for a late lunch during Wag-O-Ween. Dogs are allowed on the spacious patio on the sidewalk in front of the restaurant. The pizzas are wood fired and delicious. Friendly service. Colby enjoyed people watching while we enjoyed the food and drinks.

A beautiful shaded and open meadow 3.5 mile loop encompasses a greenway with a natural spring - option to hike to the top of a steep hill for an amazing view. Fido needs to be leashed and the trail is multi-use, so beware of bikers if your pup likes to zig zag around! The path is hard packed or mowed grass. Colby is a little 8lb Maltese mix and he enjoyed sniffing and being carried around the loop! It’s a beautiful spot for a nice walk!

Had a late lunch on a quiet Sunday afternoon. Two other people on the deck enjoying drinks with their dogs. They brought water with ice for Colby and he had plenty of room to sprawl! Food was good - got there just in time for the 10 under $10 lunch specials.

Super pup friendly!! Allowed at the bar, under the roof, and on the patio!! Also awesome river edge seating while you wait for a table. Everyone is so friendly! Perfect lunch at Swampy’s!! Food is good too! Colby had a ball people watching!

We camped at RSSP for 2 nights. Very pup friendly. Had a wonderful time. my husband even commented “I feel like I’m in a dog park!”. All the campers had pups and all were well behaved and sweet! I didn’t see one “pile”. Everyone picked up after their pups. Clean, quiet, and beautiful!

Dog Friendly!! Nice trail around the point and beautiful vistas. Admission is $10 and unfortunately you have to pay for parking now. Minimal parking spots. Opens at 8:30am and it was quiet on a Sunday morning at 8:30am!!

Stayed one night. Reasonable pet fee of $25. Nice grassy pet area between the Baymont Hotel and HIE. Rooms very large and clean. Noise of Interstate a bit loud, but that’s to be expected!! Colby enjoyed his stay :)

We spent 3 hours here with our furry pal!! No questions asked. Had a wonderful time and Colby welcomed the customers as they walked in! He even sat on the bar rail and watched the party on Duvall St!

Great place to bring your pal! very accommodating! outdoor seating is plentiful and casual atmosphere- live music and good food/drink
