Lots of bamboo and foliage - pretty spot and dog friendly
- ElsaJan 18, 2023Great for Doggos
This is a fun place to walk the dogs! only downside is there are not any waste receptacles in the gardens, only one in the entrance, so you have to carry your doggy bag the entire way around. I will bring a publix bag to double wrap and put in my backpack to dispose of on the way out.

This is a wonderful botanical garden! The staff are super friendly and love dogs. There's lots of places to explore and sniff. Water bowls are provided in a few areas around the park.
- BrookeNov 9, 2018Great place for people AND dogs!
Friendly staff, well kept facilities, beautiful landscape. The easy to understand map helps you navigate the gardens and there are often water bowls for the dogs. They also have small pavilions and seating areas at various locations if you or you dog need a rest in the shade. Every time I have been with my dog I have run into others with their dogs! Make sure to bring your own bags to pick up after your dog. There is a general admission fee of $8 per adult, $4 per child, and under the age of 5 is free.
- PatMore than a year agoThe dogs LOVE this place
We have been many times with our three dogs. Plan on 1/2 day to see it all and follow the map so you don't miss anything. There are plenty of shady areas, bowls of water in unexpected places, and other water sources for the dogs to enjoy a cool drink. It is wheelchair or stroller accessible. We enjoy all the delightful variations in vegetation, water habitats, and types of paved footing.
