Nice dog park and a great place for a walk. It was clean and the dogs loved it!

Separate areas for small and large dogs. Both of nice size with grass and mulch, chairs and water. 0 .5 mile’s paved trail around a dam. Pretty park in residential neighborhood with lots of squirrels. Go to Arlington park and aquatic center [to park].

The parking lot is a little walking distance from the fenced in park. This dog park is a medium size park with places for dogs to dig, run, sniff, and play. It was clean and had picnic tables and chairs for people to sit and chat safely. there was a water station with several bowls and poop bags and receptacles to use.
As a bonus there is a nice sidewalk trail to walk your dog on a leash. - ReggiesmamaMore than a year agoWouldn't Recommend
This dog park is not well maintained. The plastic wading pool was full of filthy water and the trash can for poop was overflowing. The other dog owners who were there stood at the entrance not paying a bit of attention to what their dogs were doing. They couldn't even be bothered when one of their dogs jumped all over my boyfriend and got his shorts and shirt muddy. Rude and oblivious dog owners + poor maintenance = worst dog park I have ever been to. Skip this one.

!st visit had a difficult time finding dog park, I followed the signs for the walk, beautiful trail that went around Arlington Park and returned to the dog park. I should have turned left from the parking lot instead of right.
Pleasant dogs, people and park. Water, balls, poop bags...it had it all. Will go again. - CharlieMore than a year agoOasis in a dog unfriendly city
Sarasota is a nice town. It's exurbs (Longboat, Anna Maria) are nice, too. But, if you've got your dog with you and you're from out of town, you've got work to do in order fulfill that running and socializing your pup is used to. Arlington Dog Park solves that problem. It's an retired baseball field, has plenty of water and poop bags…..

Off leash park, separate area for small dogs, some shade, picnic tables and benches, friendly people and dogs, walking trail at Arlington Park.
