    great for active dogs

great amount of space, fence around, dog water fountain, agility course, 3 picnic tables and a couple of benches. has good grass coverage during spring/summer seasons.

    great park & walking trail

I love this park! And the walking trail behind it is also really nice!

    Eh.

This park is only getting rated with 2 bones because it has an agility course set-up. Otherwise, this is a very sad dog park. Mostly mud everywhere, barely any grass. I come from Hutchinson where the dog park is lush green year round and has a beautiful fountain with a covered seating area. This dog park leaves a lot to be desired.

    Be aware of fencing

I've gone to this park a lot with my dogs in the past and I've had issues with the fences in the park on several occasions. I own to Chihuahua mixes and one of my dogs has been able on several occasions squeeze through the Square fencing. I sometimes bring my friend's rottweiler mix and today I did the same like any other day. However he jumped the fence today and got stuck because of the square fencing. He was dangling and I had to call animal control to help free him. I will not recommend this park to dog owner's who have dogs that have been known to jump fences or lIke to escape. Seeing my friend's dog being caught in the fence was enough for me to swear to never bring the dog with me ever again and be hesitant to come to the park again. Don't get me wrong I've enjoyed this park in the past but I'm scared for other people and their dogs.
