Highlands Hammock State Park

Highlands Hammock State Park is a dog-friendly destination in Sebring, FL. Fido is welcome on hiking trails and bike trails, but not on the boardwalk. Lots of different wildlife calls this area their home, including deer, alligators, black bear, and the Florida panther. You'll notice ferns, air plants, and massive oaks lining the boardwalks and trails. There is a fee for entrance into the park, and dogs must be on a leash during their visit. Visit Website

    Nice large park with many trail options

    Poop bags available, but we did not see any trash cans. Dogs allowed also on the boardwalks. We happened to get here on a day when there was an event/festival so it was busy in some areas but not on the trails and there is plenty of parking.
