This was an awesome find in an otherwise fairly concrete city. The kids and the dog have had a blast checking it out. Tons of walking trails, a few parks, lots of green space to throw Frisbee for our pup, some water areas, and a lot of sticks, geese and birds. It's close to quite a few dog friendly options also, so we are thrilled with this find. The rest of Baltimore has been a little lackluster for us compared to this.
- LiaJun. 22, 2020There Are Pros And Cons, But Overall Great Experience!
Brought my Schnoodle puppy here for his first EVER dog park experience! He had an awesome time!!
Pros:
-Super friendly dog owners, made conversation almost the whole time
-Really cute neighborhood/area/park
-I personally like the fake grass/turf rather than real grass (dirt/mud, ticks and bugs, oh my!)
-Plenty of Parking Nearby
-Bonus: Doggy Ice Cream spot (Bmore Licks) right down the street in walking distance!Cons:
-They do have a small dog/senior dog area but there weren’t ANY dogs playing in there and all the dogs were big breeds. I don’t necessarily mind as my Schnoodle gets along with dogs of all sizes anyway but just something to keep in mind for small breed owners!
-Most of the dogs were friendly but there were three specifically that were pretty mean! Barking and growling excessively and aggressively. The kicker is the owners of these three not so friendly dogs did absolutely nothing about it! Just stood back and watched or laughed. I wasn’t particularly amused.
-Though this park is visually appealing and super cute, it’s not the cleanest! A lot of owners don’t clean up after their dogs and if you’re not careful, your dog might roll around in another dogs feces or you might step on some yourself (like I did)!
A little lengthy review but all in all, my pup and I had an enjoyable experience and will definitely be back sometime! - HeatherOct. 14, 2019Ok
This place is always crowded. There are many aggressive dogs. And every time I have visited there is always some kind of fight or argument between people happening. I have not seen a dog fight happen yet, but there are too many dog bullies allowed to play here. Most of the owners are either not paying attention, on their phones or standing outside of the park while there dog terrorizes everyone inside the park.

This park is beautiful and much needed for the area, since Patterson park has a lot of dogs living nearby. It's free, and very accessible, but a bit small for larger dogs, as it can get crowded. Beware of people on cell phones not minding their dogs! Also, people don't seem to pick up their dogs' poop, although there is a hose for washing down. Overall, still a good resource for the area!
